I hope you‘re right. I still hope Manta will post live pics of the editions before pre-order one day. So all the worrying about the quality of the edition until arrival would be gone. Of course only if it‘s logistically possible for them. Would be a nice service though.

I hope you‘re right. I still hope Manta will post live pics of the editions before pre-order one day. So all the worrying about the quality of the edition until arrival would be gone. Of course only if it‘s logistically possible for them. Would be a nice service though.

I don’t even think they have the materials in hand before they make decisions. Because there’s been times I’ve asked what the transition is on a lenti and they don’t even know. Which is also why they don’t post them. They might have steel proofs but slips I think they just say what they want (to the manufacturer) and then wait.

Also if they did have the slip proofs in hand before making decisions and beauty shots then the odd lenti here and there over the past 3/4 years wouldn’t of made the final cut (OUATIH & BoP DLs comes to mind)

I meant to say they have a resealable bag and they are sealed. Even though seals on these items are tight it still makes a hell of a difference when you do unseal it. With lentis I usually unseal half the front so I can see how different they do look. There’s still glare and a slight mist when they are shrink wrapped

Haha yes, for sure, I know what you mean bud. Makes the world of difference with manta lentis when you take the polly bag and the wrapper off. Same can be said with weet and nova, once that seal and film are off.

Yep. This. I'd love it, but stock just isn't there when preorders are live. It's months after. Nova and weet again, are the lovely exceptions there.

Yeah that‘s what I meant with if logistically possible for them. It‘s not ideal but with the amount of releases they are doing right now, I guess it‘s the only way.
But then again like you mentioned it‘s only an odd slip here and there and 95% of the time the editions turn out to be lovely and we can trust Manta.
