Don't worry mate. FA will magically transform your opinion about this film and remember the discs will glow in the dark to.enlighten your mood. Looks like this and FF4 are going close on the ratings war.
Stupid plot, too much CGI, don't get me started on the acting, BUT, absolutely loved it. It's what the cinema screen was made for. Just seen it at the IMAX in Perth. Dis-engage brain, massive bucket of popcorn, and sit back and enjoy. Pure indulgence. Don't take it too seriously and you'll love it.
I just finished watching it and I dont get it! Why this was so expensive, the CGI looked like made for sci fi channel! It sucked ass big time! I can believe the original is 20 years old n still great, well too bad I like the steelbook art but I will have to cancel it! 
Isn't that pretty much the way for most blockbuster movies. Citizen Kane most of them are not....... I just switch the old grey mater off, get the popcorn out and just chill out in the dumbness of it all. For Every Captain America Winter Soldier you get 10 Speed 2: Cruise Control meets Batman v Robin........ So usually these bad films are in good company. Lets be honest very few of them are rarely any good......
U r right there! But there are bad films n terrible, horrible ones; and this one is one of those....
So we're not talking Spock's Brain or Plan 9 from Outer Space where it's so bad it's actually good? From your point of view it's just bad period.
The first one was also criticized for its cheese factor. The only reason people went to watch it was because of that trailer. The moment we saw the White House getting blown up, we all thought, "Whoa!"
One of the worst sequels ever. Zero plot, zero acting. Typical American shite. Too much shite is coming over from Hollywood lately.
If birdemic got the steelbook treatment i would buy all 2,000 copies just so i could burn them.
Who in their right mind would actually give a go-ahead to produce 2000 copies of such utter crap? Blind people, perhaps? *No disrespect to blind people*
Thats why i would bankrupt myself just to stop people from having to suffer that insane piece of doo doo.
Judging by the reviews of the film here and elsewhere (Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic et al) and the highish price of the item I'm more than a little surprising that this steelbook is now showing OOS / OOP ! . . . and looking at comments here, as luck would have it, more than a few cancellations to pop up at some point before release for anyone that missed it.
I didn't get the "Only 500 remaining" for this steel - like I did with the recent #1 re-issue - and was wondering if anybody else did ?
