I know for a fact that blufans do not order 3K copies for all their runs, for example.
Oh, I didn't know that about the Chinese subdivision, and wondered how they managed, like maybe having some extra copies for internal market.

The lionsgate US ones aren't ordered or printed in batches of 6-9K either.
Yeah, they often add reprints, calling them 'warehouse finds', as if one could 'find' 4000+ copies of some of them.
I'm interested too if they continued with the 'first print' markings, and if so, when does that first print end – at 3000, 5000, 10,000 copies? I haven't opened any of mine for the past 4 years. Gotta ask friends that bought them, keep forgetting...

I'll add some off-topic stuff here about Lionsgate: my friends confirmed there are First Pressing labels on Dogma, The Crazies, and at least these as well, so it's safe to assume they're are still putting it on all new releases (I've ordered all of these for everyone in our group on the first day of preorders):

Now when, and if, do these end, we gotta ask someone who bought late, or from a known added printrun.

Yeah, the CN scanavo seem to run one unto their own. Blufans have been able to order 1500 runs for titles, which is likely more like 2k tbh, but they still allow it.

I'd assume they order 2 or 3 similar run titles at once to make it worthwhile for scanavo, but scanavo CN also have different printing abilities in terms of embossing lines and varnish finish, so we shouldn't compare them to EU/NA.
