7.35k refreshing for 3 hours and never saw it come in stock even though I was in 10 minutes earlier.
And still didnt get one. But now I assume ebay will be flooded the price should drop below cost price by the time this release is out and all other editions from other countries should drop 50% or more. So since I missed this I will look forward in picking up manta interstellar one click for 200 or if not buy this edition on ebay for 50 100. 50 British pounds of course, not dollars, im not crazy.
acting once upon a time in hollywood GIF

You have to choose the shipping method AND wait for the page to register the choice with updated total. I got the same pop up once in a hurry.

Yup. 15 minutes of refreshing and errors, then PayPal sending a pin to my phone, even though I logged in, then taking the payment, and not being able to load the site back, but the order is in the profile with that Deposit. With MantaLab if you don't get back to the site, you're screwed, but not with glorious WeET! :shipped:

No "easy-peasy" gif today, because it truly was an old-fashioned bloodbath, with site croaking under pressure, and the battle of the remaining relentless...

That's so annoying. Didn't know that was the case. Will remember for next time. Thank you!

If you did it in error, i.e chose EMS shipping instead of kpacket, I'd email them and ask if they'll change it for you, refunding the difference. Even if they don't refund you, you'll want it changed anyway. You will almost certainly be hit with customs with EMS, whereas is unlikely via the standard postal service.

Thanks Sam. I didnt manage to get the OC because of a shipping error pop up but when I managed to get the lenti, I'm certain I put the shipping down as kpacket. Unfortunately, cant check on the order history as it just states the total amount and not breakdown - unless someone know any other way to check.

I had been waiting for a steelbook release like this one, with a steelbook with this artwork, and slipcase with the black hole, like A2 version.
Well, what a f*cking s*itshow this pre-order hulabaloo was, I got two times the page where you could click "buy it now" or whatever, but then everytime the website crashed, and I never got to the purchase page. What a joke. (n)

It's UK shipping, isn't it? Kpacket is $19, so $74 total. EMS should've be $42. So if your total is $97, if it's via EMS.

WTF 4 pages of unread in 5 hours, did something happen last night? :)

Weet's website and launch time is why I GB their stuff, whatever the GB host charges on top is a small price to pay for a good night's sleep rather than the pure frustration of a Weet release.

I did say earlier in the thread they could triple the production run and it'll still sell out, there's probably going to be a small window for bargains when the people who bought to split or accidentally signed for multiple GBs try to offload but there's so much mania around Interstellar, if the release is as good as it looks I can't see it doing anything but go up in value unless everyone is buying to speculate.

...Buying to open, watch and keep here.

Buy to invest and speculate to accumulate profit?
By all means, I guess that's wholly a part of "limited" premium collectables especially One Clicks; will I ever understand it?
Nope.

It's part of why I wasn't really critical of Weet bumping the production run, if they'd kept the numbers limited anyone who scored the OC would have been able to resell for double their money without much effort, this stuff should be limited but when not even half the people who want it can get it, that's a problem, especially as it massively encourages people to block collectors for profit which compounds the issue.

I say all this as someone who secured an OC before the increase, I just want a nice copy of Interstellar but I won't lie, if it was worth stupid money I'd have a hard time resisting splitting the OC.

I've always been a fan of how Limited Run offer their products by offering a pre-order period. There's no waking up at stupid o'clock, no rush, no website breaking, just get your order in within the period of a week or month or whatever, then they make that amount and no more. No one misses out that really wants it, it's still limited and everyone's happy. Idiots that buy for speculation, (who obviously haven't heard of a bank account with interest, let alone actual investing), can still get a limited copy, but don't take away from people who actually like the film and want the product. Having had to go through a group-buy that kept things nice and vague as to whether I actually got a copy of this one, until late last night when I was about to set an early alarm, I just don't understand why these companies operate this way. Then the likes of Manta won't sit on copies of The Matrix Resurrections until kingdom come, and they can surely make a tonne more money from the more popular titles like Interstellar. Over 1K one clicks is some serious cash for WeET.

you were right... i bought full slip a on ebay. i paid 50 shipped, OK... actually 20, but I gave a 30 tip, because he was a fair dude

To be fair, 15 mins of that was the website being down.
Actually the site didn't crash per se, it was overwhelmed by the number of connections to it. I've seen a page here and there throughout those 15 minutes. So every time you got through, it's because an unknown number of people gave up.
Anyone that ordered has done it on the bodies of the fallen... :naughty:

Exactly GIF

That's what I've said:

That way the company makes more money, doesn't feed the resellers, and keeps the prices down for real collectors.

In principle LRG's methods are great, until you're waiting for half of or your entire order to ship a year later with absolutely no communication or assistance from them about whether it's actually ever going to arrive or not.
