"Over 1K one clicks is some serious cash for WeET"

How about 5,000 one clicks??? or maybe 8,000 one clicks???? That would be MORE serious cash for Weet right???? Maybe Weet can enter the Best Buy, Walmart Standard edtion steelbook market and make 15,000 copies of each title???? Wow, look how much money they would be making then right???

Premium limited edition" definition -----> high-quality, superior-version products produced in small, restricted quantities.

Thank goodness Manta Lab, Blufans, Kimchidvd, Cine Museum, Filmarena (before the went awol) all still understand the definition of what a Premium LIMITED EDTION manufacturer is all about.

In principle LRG's methods are great, until you're waiting for half of or your entire order to ship a year later with absolutely no communication or assistance from them about whether it's actually ever going to arrive or not.
No denying their wait times are ridiculous, I wouldn't suggest replicating whatever their manufacturing model is, but how they handle pre-orders is just so much better, and even if it did lead to a bit of a wait time, for me anyway, I think that would be worth it. (Also, it's not like we're entirely strangers to that in this space with some companies either :naughty: cinemuse'scam' cough)

Speak for yourself, I'm a film collector not a 'PREMIUM LIMITED EDITION COLLECTOR EXTRODINAIRE, AT YOUR SERVICE SIR'. I want the best and nicest version of a film that I can get, that's it, just the premium part. What difference does it make if something has a ridiculously small print number or a larger one? 200 or 2000 as long as everyone that wants one, can get their hands on one. That's the point. A pre-order window might only lead to 500 copies, or it might lead to 5000, but what are you buying it for that it would make the slighest bit of difference to you? By your logic I imagine you'd be first in line to buy WeET's edition of 'Cats' if it was limited to 100 copies worldwide, and wouldn't that be nice to display proudly among the other trash purely because it's....wow a very limited edition. Who cares.

Laugh Out Loud Lol GIF
Elisa Donovan Whatever GIF

Didn't plenty of earlier releases have similar kind of numbers? Does that mean those releases are no longer considered premium?

I have the Manta Lab 4K single lenti..
Nice to see there are options out there for the peasants amongst us...:naughty:
Did you learn nothing from the last time this joke was used! :wow:

It's alright though, us peasants will make do with our peak BOSSED Interstellar steelbooks, when you see the amazing photos it'll be too late to change your mind and the Weet set will be priced higher than the Manta!

To be honest, I don't give a sh#t about numbers, quantities, etc... All I'm interested in is owning a nice edition of the releases that matter to me the most. I really don't care if somethings numbered, limited to 'X' amounts, etc. What does p#ss me off is the difficulty buyers have with some releases, ie, the Blade Runner 2049 Blufans being available to 'vip's' and having such low print runs that tw#ts on eBay list them at £600+...
Yes, I do own some very low print run items, ie, Alien Covenant 4k lenticular /2001 Blufans but I'm just happy to be fortunate enough to actually own a copy with the rarity being irrelevant...

I say let's join in the middle and say they did good by increasing the print run but not that high of a number to be fair/authentic for referring to the term of Limited.

There's almost 8 and a half billion people in the world. 7350 seems pretty limited to me dude.

As a percentage of 8.5 billion thats...0.00008647%, you too could be one of those 0.00008647%.
Low baby. Loooooow. Gives me the shivers it's so limited. :cigar::smuggrin:

And that's where you're wrong :)

First of all, not all freaking 8 billions collect steelbooks or know their existence ! The amount of true collector and fan around the world is still small and not everyone collect or can afford premiums.

Second, i couldn't give a fluke about the print number, they could have made 1 million and i wouldn't care. I was simply trying to understand each side of the arguments.

But for the ones amongst us that are not scalpers but still see value/investment on a limited, premium.. i understand the frustration but don't necessarily agree with it.

7350 wow this must be the highest quantity premium release ever. If this is the trend I’ll be out, 1300 one clicks is ridiculous. I might be the minority here but I enjoy buying premiums because of the limited small numbering. If they’re just gonna print to demand I don’t see the fun in that at all.
I completely agree. Had I known that I wouldn’t have tried to get a copy last night. I already have the ML Boxset.

There going to be so many copies on eBay that prices will start to drop real quick.
It wouldn’t really be collecting if you always got the title you wanted, missing a release is a good thing sometimes otherwise you’re never really looking to find anything. That sure seems boring to me so I like the limited print runs on premiums.

No wonder WEET didnt want us to know the print run, greedy bastards!

Its Me Hello GIF
Joking Just Kidding GIF

People in this community can be far too serious around collecting.
Myself included sometimes.
Its all bollox though and here we are at the eternal gatekeeping/scalper/investment/sealed/open argument all over again.
I also couldn't give a feck. Open and watch the thing. Enjoy it like it's meant to be.

Collecting for Investment is crazy to me; keeping Sealed is crazy to me (no disrespect - maybe one of you could enlighten me on the psychology, I'd seriously love to understand & know why you keep sealed and stored?); Gatekeeping multiple copies is just crazy and deeply sad, then there's Scalping, scalping should be somehow banned, fined and those worst offenders humiliated for the all the community to see.
Peace out

Ninjas,
Let's calm down.
A 7,350 print run is comparable to the latest 6,000 Spider-Man 1 print run on Manta RN.
Also, remember some manufacturers print above the disclosed numbers to account for returns and damaged products.
I think this those that are arguing the "premium" numbers may have sour grapes. Until we see the item hand, this release is still a must have.
There will be another argument on this thread with the product in hand about MM's face on the Lenti B being photoshopped.
Be safe Ninjas.
