Which was the last rare Tw release?

I don't know if you'd call it rare, but the last Taiwan release that had a fairly low print run (800 reportedly) and that sold out quite quickly was Prometheus. And before that, Underworld Awakening. The last truly rare Taiwan release is probably Cap America.

Even titles as old as Amazing Spider-Man, TDKR, Snow White & Huntsman etc are still in stock, so they do generally hang around a long time these days.

They might as well take it when you order. They basically put a "reservation" on the money, so you can't use it. It just sits there, pending until it ships. So, yeah...i'd say they charge ahead of time.
