how is it that many of us haven't even gotten updates on these yet blu-steel is selling dozens of these on ebay?

Easy & simple answer, Blu-steel has the connections and you and many others don't :naughty:
As for the steel, I'm still looking for another deal for one because I refuse to overpay for it (since I missed the GB)
I like the 1/4 slip, but... I'm more happy that I'll have the Blufans version soon (both lenti & 1/4 slip)

How many post cards should there be? I've opened mine up tonight and got six postcards, but one twice. So I don't know if I have one missing or not.

"I would never consider shipping a steel in a box that small. I always ship in a thicker box with lots of bubble wrap. I assume most others do as well."

well .. if he hadn't been sent a dammaged steelbook in the first place i guess he wouldn't have wanted to send it back that way(and wouldn't have need to neither..)
oh and zavvi does it regularly LOL

Generally speaking, yes, but this is an already damaged steelbook with a big dent to one side. On this occasion, the box is sufficient enough to get the steelbook back to where it needs to be.

Did Kimchi at least offer to cover the return postage for your damaged steelbook? the zavvi box would definitely come under the Royal Mail small parcels limit, the kimchi packaging should be within the limit too, of course some of them boxes arrive with damages.

I keep a good amount of the Zavvi boxes, any of the damaged boxes get thrown out right away, I would never use them to send overseas for a steelbooks like Zavvi do, they are tougher than they look though.

I do not think they cover the return postage. I have had 0% solutions when dealing with Kimchi regarding returns, refunds etc

I'd go to the sorting office with your tracking number and ask if anything is there for you. I had to do it for my copy of 'Her', they were holding it due to customs charge but hadn't sent out any notification to me.

Picked up my Nova Media Drive FS today and asked them if they have anything held in the office, which they don't unfortunately, thinking I am in the same boat as @Bigmac and it may not have reached the UK yet. Hopefully get some news soon on these orders.

I emailed Tony asking if he could look into it for me, but not heard a peep off him. Their site does say to get in touch if 20 days has passed & it will be 20 days on the 19th.

I've personally had other orders sent after this and all have reached GBLALA on tracking and have only took 7 days. This is the only one that's not updated and I haven't received, so fear the worse...

Not sure what KimchiDvD will do, no doubt they will have no stock left so we will have to wait for a refund.

Tony hasn't mentioned about covering the postage costs yet. I'm sending the package off today (via Royal Mail with tracking) and I will send him another email with the receipt of the postal charges.

The Zavvi box is sturdy enough to protect the steelbook; there is also a sheet of foam padding inside.

I don't think he was sent a damaged steelbook. The steelbook was properly packaged, wrapped in layers of bubble wrap and placed in a proper box. His photo clearly shows the package was smashed in transit. :)
