We all need to hold firm and not order this,to show them that ZBoxes full of crap are not the way to go. however,knowing the crazy money people pay for steelbooks,I think some will panic that they wont be able to get it without the box of crap,so it will sell out,and then it creates future zboxes....FFSakes

The lowest print run on a steelbook Zavvi has done so far is 1,000.
So are 1,000 people really going to take the plunge on a box of tack worth €40 just for this mediocre steelbook? I'd really like to hope not.
Anyway I'm thinking the print run will at least be the same as their Avengers lenti. And something tells me we haven't seen the last of that yet. Limited numbers mean nothing with Zavvi.
Just look at 'Filth' for example. It's still available today.....

If this genuinely was exclusive to the Zbox and was actually a part of it rather than just an add-on to get people to spend more money, then I'd commend them for their efforts. I fully expect the steelbook to be sold separately at some point though... just like the "Zbox exclusive" Dredd badge was.
I am delighted it's now been confirmed as definitely iron man steelbook. The person who revealed it the other day clearly has the inside news and the picture is the same as was revealed. I really like the look of the artwork.
As people will see from many of my posts we have had no end of problems with zavvi but here I don't get the level of outrage. If you don't want it, they aren't forcing you to buy it. It's an exclusive product they have that people have asked for, an ironman steelbook and also a zbox with a steelbook included??

As much as I'd like this in my collection,especially as I only own the amaray , I'm going to pass.Not an easy decision but not going to weaken.If I miss out, so be it, Not going to encourage Zavvi with my hard earned.
You can't really blame any retailer for wanting to release an Iron Man steelbook.
It sells, that's the thing. Sure, I don't like the way Zavvi are handling it, but we all knew it was coming. Marvel Cinematic Universe releases are a licence to print money and Disney know it. Bear in mind, the FS and Play versions were down to Paramount whereas all the later ones are Disney, and we all know Disney loves a repackaged title.
People are still asking for better versions of Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk and Guardians of the Galaxy so while Iron Man is being milked at the moment, you can rest assured the others will follow. We've had how many for Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor and The Avengers? 2 or 3 real variations (not including J-cards or printed titles).
You don't get the level of outrage? Steel isn't available on its own, simples!
They could have done this with every big release, they could stop releasing steels. They can do to be honest whatever they want.
But really outrage, some people need to get out more. I have been enraged with zavvi when it takes over a week to get them to reply to a message, then more days debate trying to get the return info for yet another damaged steelbook and ages it being returned and then waiting for refund. It's such a frustrating cycle but this? As I said it's up to them and you don't have to buy it and chances are they will release it separately, people need a
P.s. It also amuses me so many people moaning are saying "...I'll leave it I have the play/kimchi/blufans..."

I want it but i will not pay £40. I stupidly bought one poo box and i vowed never again. The SB looks nice but i have the Play one and will hold off.....must be strong
