I went to amazon.de, and it gave me the notify me option of when it will be available as an (amazon.de exclusive) with pictures looking very similar to the Media Markt one.

Does this mean that amazon.de will be selling the same steelbook? I hope so!!!

i dont think this is for a steelbook but a special collectors boxset containing a

Limited A4 canvas with print and signature of director Timo Vuorensola. The Super Deluxe Limited Edition is numbered continuously and thus serialized. It also includes the original soundtrack of IRON SKY by Laibach on a separate audio CD, a 36 page illustrated book (artbook) with extensive background information on the film, and numerous illustrations.

I got this today from a member in Germany, Is anybody else having issues playing this. All I get on the screen is Splendid, then nothing. Is this a defective disc issue?

It's region B isn't it?

Yes it's region B. That's why I tried to play it in my region free player. And all I got was Splendid. If it was wrong region I would not have seen that.

Does this have subs or dubbed. I bought Rare Exports, While I enjoyed the movie I had no idea what they were saying.

Iron Sky German Steelbook - Gutted

Busted my nuts and sold things to afford this. Turns up, marvellous. Very pretty.
Disc offers Deutsch or Original versions, even better.

But...

The english closed captions for German language segments are missing.

I get so tired of this. If the film is the original version, it should be ALL of the original version. The German BD of Immortal had this problem too.

Very nice steel. Got it thanks to John! Already had the US version with the slipcover so i won't be opening the steel (sorry Ricker!) but even in its packaging the embossing and debossing looks so good.

ricker had a problem playing it too
