Is KOSM a scammer?!?!

MOD UPDATE - turns out King of Steel Media (@Kosm aka Matt aka CreativePlus aka MovieCrate) is most likely a scammer to some extent, so I urge people not to purchase from him. If you've been unfortunate enough to have done so already, then please make a claim through your bank/Paypal ASAP!

Hi All,

As I see more and more complaints about this reseller and have a issue myself with this guy, I was wondering what's going on, I ordered some 'in stock' items back in November;

...And now still waiting for the refund as I wad done waiting and especially when this fella informed a couple weeks back that the OC of Tenet was NOT even in his possession. WTF?!?! And now I get these mails regarding these custom releases he's releasing himself...
How is it even possible if you cannot even manage forwarding 'in hand' items...

Can anyone help me? I pre-ordered the Interstellar edition with a wooden box from UHD CLUB through King of Steel Media, but they are not replying to my emails. Their website and Instagram have disappeared, and it’s been over six months since the pre-order, so PayPal won’t cover me anymore. I think they have definitely scammed me, and it’s 170 euros. It takes a lot of effort to save up to pay for a special edition like this, and then some trash person comes along to scam you.

Im so sorry for you but as you can read in the thread a lot of members are in the same situation as yourself. I would adviae to conract Paypal, if they son't proceed they thqn have at least another complain about this scammer ;)

You need to keep on pestering PayPal as well as hitting up KOSM as much as you can.
PP may still be able to refund you at least something, they probably have hundreds of complaints against this guy and a folder a mile thick.

Did you use a credit card through PayPal? I once had a situation with a filmarena preorder where it was like a year later that I needed to take action. It was too late to go through PayPal, so I just went directly to the credit card company and filed a chargeback. I explained in my complaint that it took so long to file because it was a preorder, but I still wasn't expecting much since it was so late. But they went through the investigation process and nobody at filmarena ever responded, so I won my case and got reimbursed. There are no guarantees but if you used a card it could be worth a shot.

Lol where are the threats and blackmail? His "legal team" also need reporting for offering false legal advice. Seriously though, don't fall for his fake threats... he knows he hasn't a leg to stand on in any of this.

I am so sorry I stuck up for this guy in this thread a year or two ago. I'm shocked to see him claiming to be in Italy last week in the above screenshots as a friend told me he is also claiming elsewhere to be in a court case in India for a tragic event that happened to his sister. At this point it feels like a ponzi and he is obviously lying and making up stories. I guess he will claim Italy was a typo and he really meant India.

Well, he replied that the transfer had been sent, with a screenshot to prove it. It seems genuine, so now i just have to wait.
In his case "suffer" is more appropriate
