That sounds bad, was it already open or did they send another sealed copy? it is just wrong to do this to a customer and poor service if it was sent unsealed in this condition.
Bad news indeed! I'm now worried about the replacement they sent me. I wonder in what conditions it will arrive. Since I buy from then never before did I see such a thing like this happen. And the steelbook is so beautiful. It is a pity! Such a good film.:(

No it was an open, empty steelbook, waste of time. :(
Does anyone have a mint/near to mint copy of this?

That is bad customer service then, talk about defeating the purpose,(n) I'd consider asking for a refund since the replacement is a complete failure.

I can't help with a copy maybe another collector will, the quality control is off with this release but yours is worse than the light gloss scratches on the back, which a lot of copies have.

Yeah best of luck anyway, nothing is certain with Kimchidvd, going by some of the experiences of other collectors.

I have just opened mine,is not perfect, perhaps we can say it could also not be good, but for me it is acceptable considering how this is turning... So I'd rather keep it instead of returning and praying

My front is ok, just some scratches on the lower edge. Back is not good, got something like waterdrops marks that I guess is lacquer not being properly aplied, may try to buff it if I find the time.

Corners are the worst part as the have a matte finish, most probably due to bad lacquer application again

Well, thanks. When I receive my new case I'll post how it arrived to my hands.

At least you guys are receiving something. My copy and my friends copy were shipped on release, May 21, neither arrived yet. Last tracking update was May 24. Did they tie the packages to a turtle?

Kimchi shipped two packages to me on May 21st. I received one around June 8th and I only received the other today, with no tracking updates, so delays are possible. Hopefully you get yours soon.

There is delays with international parcels arriving if passed through France due to union disputes

Lot of parcels from Korea and especially China goto to Germany or France before they are then sent to Uk/Ireland

From what I have seen all copies seem to have issues. I haven't heard of anyone having a mint copy.

I actually had very good luck with my one-click. One copy was mint while the other two only had minor imperfections (one with a speck of dust under the paint and the other with a single, fine scratch in the gloss on the back). Such a gorgeous steel; it's a shame so many have received shoddy copies!

Congrats @misformatt! That's how every copy should've been! :squint: I'm still waiting to place my next order with Kimchi and that's when I have to request my replacement steel and Lenti A slip :coffee:

Congrats @misformatt! Good to someone got a perfect copy! I haven't opened mine yet, I'm not sure I will want to see it depending on the condition it's in!

My Lenti A Steelbook was also in mint condition no issues
It's a fingerprint magnet and easily gets marks that look like scratches but they clean off easily as long as you use a soft gentle clean high quality fibre cloth

If you use a poor quality fibre cloth on a black finish gloss steelbook it can cause scratches and bad smudges especially with poor quality fibre cloths that retain dirt particles as these can cause real permanent scratches
