Mine arrived today, was hoping for some spot gloss on the balloon like the part 1 steel.

Too bad, they don't use spotgloss finish. How do they explain that some matte Steelbooks are smooth while others are streaky?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I recall someone saying it was down to having extra layers underneath which results in a better finish/colours on the top.
