Why do you think because they have a scratch they are going to be more valuable if there is another reprint. Who would want to pay a ton of money for a defective steelbook? It would drive me nuts being in my collection. Just like my Dark Shadows drives me nuts.

Deep down I don't think they will be worth more, but at the same time I don't think they should do a reprint. Once it turns out to be a manufacturing defect then it's done and dusted, and anyone who isn't happy should get a refund and everyone else should hang on to it (or whatever)

I've not seen one person ask for a reprint to rectify the issue either, so I can only assume the majority are happy with it. Rick, if you saw the faintness of the line in hand then you would appreciate how hard it is to see without tilting it around against the light

Now if it had been a misprint then we'd be talking a different story altogether

Reading through the last few pages of this thread makes me wonder if the majority of people would've even noticed the line if it weren't for HDN. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have spotted it had no one pointed it out... it's very minor and not worth all the fuss IMO. Although, I do understand why some of you are annoyed by it. It's ES I feel sorry for though.

If you got a flawless copy then seriously, congrats...if not then you just have to live with it or take your chances on a replacement.

I agree that there won't be a reprint, I don't however believe there are any flawless copies, even upon close inspection this line is hard to find and I suspect many won't notice it until months down the line when the light just happens to hit the steel at the perfect angle to show the mark

Does anybody else's copy have a long, thin scratch (like the main defect) that runs through the 'A' of 'Reacher' all the way to bottom?

I need to know if my copy is even more 'unique' .

I know this has been touched on before but what do people think about the true grail possiblility of this release - could it realistically reach Irom Man FS / John Rambo status or more like Bluefans or below desirability??

It's definitely got potential! Anything that has a print run of 500 or less in my eyes has got a good shot at being a grail.... That all important UK Slip makes all the difference.

On another note I really think people need to give Entertainment Store a break, at least they took a risk to bring us this low qty run title!

Entertainment Store I salute you, I hope you give us more limited run titles!

Great customer service and great packaging, couldn't have asked for a better job.

ES have handled this release superbly in my opinion. They've been active in answering customers questions and brought us a release that, arguably, wouldn't have happened in the UK with any other retailer.

The quality of the steelbook finish isn't ES's fault, but they've ackowledged it and are looking into it. I for one can't wait for more releases.

The more UK SB retailers the better.

Probably because they are new on the scene buddy. They get some slack where Zavvi have been around for years.

Their packaging overall (not just steelbooks) have been sub-standard forever.

I think its probably cause i imagine ES as a guy in his bedroom surrounded by 500 steelbooks sending them out trying to pay back the bank loan
