Old infos:
Note About Ordering From Entertainment Store said:
They will ONLY DELIVER TO UK ADDRESSES AT THE MOMENT.

A way around this: (confirmed by retailer thats its ok)

1) Order directly but add a UK HDN members address for delivery
OR
2) Ask a UK HDN member to kindly order it for you

So please be careful when ordering because if you've put an address outside the UK your order will be most likely be cancelled by Play.

Now that HMV is saved, I hope they start doing exclusive Steelbook releases at affordable price. 27.99 is a rip off for a title like Jack Reacher and this is what happens when there is less competition.

That's a fair point but HMV never did/do exclusives well below the 1K print run, for something this limited I am happy to spend a few extra ££ :scat:

Except every Jack Reacher release seems to be overpriced. If you don't like, don't buy. Simple.

I checked eBay 2 hours ago and none were listed, so it must have just been listed. Considering what some of the Korean steels go for, I think they've listed it at too low a price.

I can't believe he/she has 7 copies available, I am relatively new to the steelbook world and I have only ever bought 2 copies of one steelbook so far, one was to keep and one was to trade with a Ninja across the pond. I certainly wouldn't buy this many of copies of one extremely limited release just to make a quick buck on Ebay.

I know this arguement has been discussed many times on many threads probably on many other forums but it just annoys me so much. I was lucky to pre-order this before it went out of stock and to be honest I did consider purchasing an extra trading copy (cost was the deciding factor) but the second copy would be for that purpose only, and not for monetary gain.

Sorry for my rant but this really gets my goat!!

I say you pays your money and you take your chance. I know I've bought from eBay before at below what it must have cost the seller, so eBay isn't all bad for us collectors.

I also have no problems with what other people buy or do with the items they own as it is none of my business.

I guess I won't be opening my copy if it is going to go up in value.

I think, there's nothing wrong with buying for a profit, we live in a free economic world, as long as we are legally abiding by the law, there is nothing immoral about it...

thats a hell of a mark up!
i would have a quiet chuckle if all his copies arrived with the dreaded spine slash :ohno:
they are described as mint, which is putting a lot of faith in the manufacturing/packing/postal services.
for all we know, these jack reacher steels will be sent out in jiffy bags.
i can live with slight damage on my copy (aquired by the group buy on here) but i recieved such a thing from an ebay purchase at 3 times the retail price i would be making a claim pronto for item not as described.

edit... in response to roadie above. i woud say incorrect. there is nothing ILLEGAL about it, but it certainly is IMMORAL to buy up 7 copies of something and then immediately hike up the price by 2 thirds.
it the same as our lovely government increasing our petrol prices by the same ratio with their duty, and i challenge you to find an englishman who will support that :hilarious:
