Gotta say I was worried about the cost of this steel. Now having it in hand it's no longer a worry. Lovely looking!

Mind you still not seen the film as yet. Hope it don't disappoint.

Packaging was decent enough too. No padding or bubble wrap but was strapped into place so no movement inside the box. Well done Entertainment Store on this release!

Got mine today and they are beauties!!

It's safe to say this ES one may well be the most limited version, but for anyone who has picked up a copy from another country or retailer you will not be disappointed by this Steelbook. Credit to the studio for this heavily glossed, nicely 'bossed gem. Very high quality indeed

That's very unlucky mate

Why don't you drop them an email to see if they have any replacement copies. No harm in trying and from what I gather they've been pretty helpful to a few members here

They have some kept back to replace any damaged ones so i would contact them promptly to secure one.

Grrrr,
Mine turned up today - great packaging but the spine looks slashed. So opened up the wrap to see how bad and it looks like the Slasher hit the wrap but only very lightly marked the spine gloss - but still, you'd have thought someone somewhere would have learned lessons by now.
It's not too bad to be honest, far better than by deep spine slashed Skyfall but at this price, I expect a perfect copy.
Will email them and have some pics to add to this post later - the film better be good

Got mine, it also has a really long scratch down the front of the case, two slashes on the spine and numerous little marks all over. Bit gutted. The steel itself looks great tho and feels premium but mine is in a bad way. I've dropped them an email as I really don't want to end up without a copy if they do have spares.

I've just got my two and both have damage, one has a large scratch mark on the front the other a dented spine

Both are damaged on the side which is hard up to the outside face of the cardboard mailer.

I'm not convinced about this type of packaging, it would have been far better to wrap them in bubble wrap and then but them in the mailer rather than just fasten them to one side with polythene.

Postman delivered mine just as I was reading this thread. The packaging is interesting and seems to do the job. However theres a faint slash on the spine and another faint long scratch down the front, starts just to the right of the last r in Reacher and goes down to level with his mouth so its pretty much half the length of the steelbook. It can only be seen if you hold it at a certain angle and its really difficult to get a picture of. I don't buy steelbooks for profit and if it was just a 'normal' steelbook release I would put up with it but the fact that its extremely limited and nearly twice the price of most releases, I would actually like a mint one. Going to contact them and see what they say.

Steelbook is nice though, got a bit of weight to it aswell.

Seeing as the scratch is under the wrapper it looks like Entertainment Stores packaging has held up for me atleast.
