Yes, same here. This is the first time doing a pre-order with Amazon and I don't know why they dispatch on the day of release, where HMV and Play dispatch before, so you get it on the day of release. I shall be rethinking future orders with Amazon.

I believe that Amazon have actually been reprimanded in the past for delivering items before their actual release date, which is why they now dispatch later to ensure that items do not arrive prior to their release dates.

There should be some sort of advantage to pre-ordering an item IMO. As it is now, they dispatch ON the release date meaning you're at a disadvantage because you're receiving it days later.

But with catalogue titles it doesn't bother me. Not like I've not seen Jaws before and am dying to watch it on the Monday.

play.com are temporarily out of stock, I ordered this when it first got put up on their site and it's not even processing yet! Which means i probably won't get this for another week or so depending on when this comes back in stock.

All my stuff is in progress, including Jaws, I called Play.com up to find out what is going on and they said it should posted out tomorrow, so they are obviously putting it all together again in one bag and I doubt it will show up until late next week.

Viewing the Jaws steelbook on Amazon......it states "Want to receive this the day it comes out?....order in the next xx hours and xx minutes and choose FREE one-day delivery at checkout"......

Ordered in April, with Prime membership so it better turn up Monday!!!

States the same thing while viewing the Indiana Jones boxset.

That only applies to UK costumers... If you are in the UK then you are entitled to that.

It's not free either, you have to pay for that service to get one-day delivery unless you pay for the yearly Amazon Prime membership

Still no movement on mine from Amazon.... they must be the worst when it comes to pre-orders IMO

Wish Play had this up for £17.99
