Wow... how can it survive a long way from UK to HK? Amazing... I never had bad experience about shipping from Amazon UK before (Amazon US was completely another story)... worst that I got was steelbook in cardboard envelope (not jiffy bag) but this is bad... really bad... now I'm waiting for Pacific Rim I hope it didn't come with this kind of vehicle...

mg: that is in unbelievable. . What the hell were they thinking doing that! Absolutely shocking. . They should give you a compensation voucher to make up for that as a good will gesture. Can you imagine if that was a super limited edition sold out steelbook with no option of a replacement. Crazy!

You should be ok, the majority of the time they do send in boxes especially if you are outside of the UK. I find them to be hit and miss here in the UK, sometimes they do and others they don't.

Be warned of paint chips. I hope they are not selling the worst ones. Its a nice steelbook as long as it is mint.

Wow, steelbook turned out not bad. Glad its still very colorful.

And that packaging from amazon. OMG, unreal. For that reason along is why I do groupbuys where I can. Crazy. The cheapest isn't always the best. You get what you pay for.

It was bound to happen end up sold out
50th Anniversary had lot of coverage worldwide and i say lot of orders were from UK and also lot from USA as they did not have a steelbook version

I have the steelbook and the USA box set both fantastic but USA box set wins on contents

With both Amazon UK/Spain and Zavvi shipping worldwide there was always a chance this would end up sold out

Its still available though from Japan
