Since you loved the French Digipack, they’re now releasing a steelbook in the US.
It features the same art style as the Prince of Darkness and Ghosts of Mars releases (Mexifunk), both of which turned out much better than the mockups.

Nice artwork although his forehead seems off... He does have a pretty massive forehead in the film but I'm not sure why my eye focuses on it in the artwork.

Received it yesterday, really nice in hand, loads of spot gloss on the front t and back and a quality finish.
4K restoration is good as well.
