The Disney Global Product Team has confirmed other markets may have a collectable packaging in some format, but NONE of them will have a John Carter Collectable Package with the Artwork I previously posted.


Future Shop will have Global Exclusive Artwork on John Carter Collectable Packaging.

So like it or love it, exclusive artwork for Canadians!

John Carter Collectable Packaging will be up for pre-order soon.

Makes me very glad I had my sister have my brother in law grab me one as she didn't end up going home this weekend and I would have been screwed. She lives in Canada but works in the US, which is great because she ships them from the US for like $ 2.50 saves me a ton in shipping.

Now the sucky part is I have to wait until the 18th until she ships it.

Yea heard from my sister she said the futureshop by there house was sold out and my brother in law drove 40 minutes to another one for me and got one. There was only 7 left and he said the clerk said they were only getting the one shipment of them.

Yeah Sir I haven't seen steel books sell out this fast ever in futureshop. Underworld Awakening, John Carter and Act of Valor sold out within 2 days after release in major area's... thats the fastest Ive ever seen it happen in-store here. But then these three titles are the least Ive seen stock for a new release as well in-store (literally only about 10 copies each).

There is still about 10 copies of JC at my local FS... only 1 AoV (because I hid it behind some other BD's lol).

Underworld I think sold out much faster imo.

I went to my local FS right when it opened on day of release and only 4 copies of JC were on the shelf where in the case of Underworld Awakening or AoV that had at least 12-15 copies.

Anyways, they all sold out pretty quickly.

Yea I am not getting what seems to be a big shortage on steels lately. I am not sure if they are sending less or we just got a greedy ebay buyers snagging tons of these. Underworld went in a hurry, so did Safe House even though it was G1 and John Carter completely disappeared.

Heck my sister has been slowly picking me up Harry Potters and those released last year (I have the first 3 now) but John Carter is gone in 2 days almost everywhere.

Yep, because they were new releases when they came out - multiple disc versions.
