Totally agree. Even subs in (my case) Dutch are an abomination most of the time. Dubbing is raping the movie IMO. Ever heard Rambo's voice in German? It sounds like a six year old girl

I'm a huge movie enthusiast, multilingual, i speak german, english, spanish and Italian . Most of the times i watch movies in original language of course but i have seen 100's of movies in german and spanish. Let me tell you, the dubbing is near perfect in most movies, yes you have bad synchronizations but only a handful. Heck, sometimes even original dub seems bad. A good dub can cover bad acting, i have noticed this various times when i saw a particular movie in different languages. BUT i can't speak for dutch dubbing, it might be as bad as you say. German and spanish definitely aren't.
