An O-ring is open at the bottom and the top (closed at the sides) while a Full Slip just opens to one side.

It's personal preference, I know, many don't seem keen on o-rings but I got The Raid 1+2 lenti o-rings and they're awesome. Not to mention Nightcrawler..... All total favorites in my collection

I personally don't care either way. ... It's just that the term o-ring made it sound like something special or something unique about the process of the slipcover.

It is a very odd term, I have no idea who named it that but they could of come up with something better lol

For me, no. I'd always rather an O than a full because it's a much smaller unit and takes less space. I also fall into the "anything that comes with it should be in the steelbook, not next to it" camp.

At least if you drop the full slip it adds protection to the steel. Yeah you might get a dented slip but the steel has more chance of survival. With an O-Ring slip more chance of the steel getting damaged. So for the same price, Full Slip wins with added protection.
