Isn't it just that the lenticulars are awesome and not the fact that they are o-rings???
They would have been just as awesome ( or even more) as Fullslip lenticular.
I agree it's the lenticular that matters but it works both ways. I prefer O-rings but I'm indifferent. Some people are so passionate though and won't pick up a release just because it's O-Ring over Fullslip. That makes no sense to me??? Like the only reason they'd buy a whole package is one extra slip of cardboard?:rolleyes:

And for the same price for the FS vs O-Rings, you get more goodies in the FS. So another tick in the box.
Score 2-0.

2 points to the Full Slip Lads, big O Doughnut for the O-Ring boys :p

I guess that's why they were give the name - O-Rings

In my experience and with the exception of EBs Shaun lenti full slip, full slip lentis are usually much thicker, sturdier and feel more premium than a o ring Lenti.

I'm happy with the majority of o rings I have but like @StifflersDad has said it's mainly down to the lenti being fantastic. Which are mainly the nova ones in my collection. The others.... Not so great

Dropped one of the earlier sealed Kimchidvd Thor's that I owned :blackeye: Off the top of a shelf:dead: No amount of cardboard was salvaging that:facepalm:

So was the steel damaged, or the slip, or both?

I've had a O-Ring damaged. No idea how. The steel wasnt damaged but the corner of the spine slip was bent. I think it must had fell down sideways and hit into another steel on the shelf, crushing the top of it.

The price you pay is the same. But with O-Ring you get less material, less goodies such as the booklet, and as @Flloydo says, it doesn't feel premium as it would if you picked up a Full Slip. Sure the Lenti looks great, but when you pick it up and then line it with all the other premiums such as FACS, HDZeta, PA type slips, it looks rather skinny and out of place. Looks more like a standard bog steel you get as opposed to a premium.

O-Rings would be fine if you pay for what you get. IMO you don't. I would prefer them to be cheaper.

You've never experienced anything bad happen to you or you just mean you never dropped a steel? Or dropped anything for that matter?

Oh of course I've had bad shizz happen, I was just talking about dropping a steel. Only thing I ever dropped was my phone and even that, I managed to control it with my foot so it ended up with a few minor scratches instead of cracked screen etc.

Sorry, no autographs ;)

Both mate:pain:I sold it and bought a mint one since but I can't help but feel guilty when only 700 exist haha:banghead:

I completely understand your points @Flloydo and @sunnyx I didnt really think of those points. I'm just in it for the lenticular:cigar:;)

Having said that mate, lol, I still think the overall winner is the Lenti mainly because it matches the first release so well. The first full slip doesnt match the sequel at all.

If the sequel's Lenti is just as good as the first they released, the O-Ring boys will be very pleased with the matching release.

Even though the goodies inside are all the same, for this title I'm buying almost all the editions out there, as did with the first part.
Might sell one or two of the editions from the box and put other releases in together.

Glad the box for the first part will be available to everyone, but also will place editions from various countries in it that will fit.

I don't like O-rings either when compared to full slips, but there are no less goodies, the booklet is there, just in smaller format and placed inside the steelbook with the cards.

Depends on which retailer. Some retailers offer more goodies than others because they are not cramming this in and making use of the full size slip.
