Personally I hate the smaller books they put inside the steel for o ring editions. Much prefer a bigger book inside the slip sitting next to the steel.
Just my personal preference

Also sometimes the quality is different, the books nova and kimchi put inside the steel with a o ring lenti usually have a different quality jacket to the books in a full slip or full slip lenti

Isn't it just that the lenticulars are awesome and not the fact that they are o-rings???
They would have been just as awesome ( or even more) as Fullslip lenticular.

Yeah, could be. There's admittedly less cardboard in an o-ring but the ones i own are still awesome quality and well sturdy....

I do in fact prefer a well made fullslip. Kimchi's Winter Soldier lenti being an awesome example.

On the previous release, I thought the Lenti was the best from the three (no idea why they even bother with 1/4 slips?)
But I ditched the Lenti as it was an O-Ring and full slip was very awesome.
Now the sequel comes out I had to source the Lenti again so it matches the sequel lol.

So on this rare occasion I have to be an O-Ring geek lol. But of course still double dip on the full slip as well, be rude not to :D

I have a bit of a problem, too. I had the fullslip for the first movie but undecided on the second movie.

I am sure the full slips will be as good quality as good as the first. On their own its fine. But you mix the white slip with 'John Wick' large letters title on front with the dynamic colours and artwork from the sequel, it's like mixing cherryade with Gin lol.

I be going for at least Full Slip A and Lenti if I can secure this on pre-order. Then can decide which one to keep. The prices for the JW has hiked up so fast. Exactly one year ago I had the Lenti up for sale at £40. Not one bit of an interest and had to sell it even cheaper on ebay to get rid of it. Now had to trade in a steel of equal value to get this back with the jacked up prices. Quite ironic how values suddenly shoot up in steelbook collecting and how I had to chase this back again.

Chasing the lenti for the first movie will be pricey now. I don't want to do that. To avoid doing that I will have to stay away from the lenti of the second movie...lol

No I don't blame you! Unless you can do a trade of something of equal value (a steel you have thats shot up in value as well) then thats an acceptable trade. I wouldn't buy this back again at these prices.

Also thankful for choice, never once mentioned I wasn't

For me it's also not about what what I should be buying (I know your not saying it's not the case for me - and I once had someone say that i shouldn't be buying them to me also which I hit the roof at them for saying it - like I it's up to them what amount I should spend lol some people also have a life out of collecting and maybe I don't want to spend eveything I have each month on films) but it's also what I think a release is worth.

Which for me this between £38-£40 ordering direct and depending on currency conversion is about right. Whereas i don't want to spend £50+ on it through a GB and that's just my opinion. Like others have stated its their favourite film this year so I get why some will want to pay that and secure through a GB. That's fine. Other films are worth that to me or premiums from retailers I prefer more than nova etc. Lots of variables make my desicions like i imagine it does for others

Plus I look at things like @lgans316, that extra £10+ saved from the GB goes to another premium beause let's face it there are so many retailers now constantly realeasing lovely packages and it helps me obtain more on my budget each month that I set myself (other wise this hobby completely takes over) by ordering direct or like you say being smart and trying to figure out what won't sell out and maybe what I can get for a bargain later down the line from the bay or other collectors etc

But I've not mentioned once I don't welcome GBs (I use them for blufans and if I can't make a pre order date)

Funny thing is my original comment on here at the extra $13 or whatever it was was not even about GBs or appreciation of them or relevance of them etc etc etc, it's the arrogance that comes with some people saying "it's only that much extra" and look down on you because you don't want to pay that extra, or assume everyone is fine and dandy with paying the extra x amount.
But people misinterpretate a hell of a lot on here so I was expecting nothing less lol
Have to agree, I feel like I'm not allowed to complain about GB's or the GB cost but like you, I refuse to pay £50+ for a title (tried to cap it at £40 but I've had to be a bit flexible since Brexit else I'd never get any steel's)

There is a general feeling on here that we're to be berrated should be complain about cost or set up's(I got a mini-lashing for venting my anger than all Kimchi's Deadpool allocations went to GB's....still KNOW I had a point...BUT that issue bought in the limits on future GB allocations which is a perfect compromise) but you just learn to live with it and sounds like you do what I do - get picky over what titles you'll buy cos I'm guessing you cant afford all the one clicks that come along? (Like me)
There's nothing wrong with that. Just dont mention the cost as it does feel like a trigger sometimes(again, harking back to the concensous that '..maybe you should be buying steels at all...' not fair or right but its the way it is ... :(
Your free to spend what you want and how you want and its your money to be tight with if you choose :) YOU earned it and can shove it up your nose for all it affects the rest of us, right? :)

That said - new system, perfect. Little extra cost for direct shipping and I'm quite happy(more willing) to give a few $ towards this site and utilise a GB rather than go direct myself now all the issues seem to be resolved(again choice and $3/£2.50 is not going to make as big a dent towards another release like $13/£10 would....)
Plus, the GB hosts on here are excellent on the whole so its win win with the current set up - money for the site and I've secured a copy already - easy.

Watched this last night and loved it. Keanu did not disappoint  Not 100% I'll be free on the live date/time and the Lenti is a must-own! GB joined :cigar: Thanks @Aniv

PS. Is anyone else thinking of buying the imminent JW1 Box to house the two Lenti's or is that a stupid idea..?:bag::sorry:
