How come we managed to see actual photos of the Kill Bills slips before they went live then?

Possibly they have half of each allocation manufactured BEFORE live time and the rest could follow (or make changes to) in the following weeks then.....?

They probably have prototype's or proof copies.

I think its fair to say that production differs from retailer to retailer. You have a guideline on how to make a steelbook, design the slips, get them all packaged up with the goodies and ship them off. Each retailer will do things different from others but within the same similar guidelines.

I will join Aniv's GB, because I dont know, if I'm at home at the pre-order time on novamedia's site. besides it will be a bloodbath. it's the most important release this year for me, so I will take no risks.

If they had kept it to only 2 editions like 1st movie then it would have sold out. Too high print run with too many versions.

They just have to many copies, plain and simple. Its not just them its everyone. When the same movies are released by 3-4 premium retailers you cant have 800+ copies and 2-3 versions per retailer. People just dont have that kind of money in general. Thats like $400-500 per movie for a collector to own them all.

yeah - I like limited buzz, as much as the next - but I guess since I'm not a reseller, I'm happy most people get a chance to score what they like - if they're keen enough to pay attention -
Huge demand for the LENTI, so they up it a bit, makes B more limited for those in need of a fix....and am sure all will be gone soon - but at least the real lovers are happy //
