Plot: John leads an ordinary life with a monotonous routine. One day John runs into a woman on the subway who is as beautiful as she is mysterious named June. His encounter with her finally leads him to have a goal in his bumptious life.

The opening few scenes are excellent, showing the dirty LA as it is now, partially destroyed by rows and rows of homeless everywhere, even making that part of the plot later on, while also depicting the 'woke' aspects of corporate offices, with forced 'awareness' meetings and suggestions to 'rat' on coworkers that 'portrayed unsavory behavior' to HR.
With every little parking attendant showing himself an *******, and the police arresting the main character for nothing, with bums laughing at him out of their tents a meter away, the hero's life changes drastically after he meets titular June. Even though it's obvious something is not right with her, she's so sympathetic, and frees the protagonist from his monotonous life of going nowhere, that we feel happy for him, and even wishing a little something like her for ourselves.
The cast is fully unknowns, but are pretty good, actress playing June is beautiful, and even though everything is very derivative and predictable, it's a nice little movie with some fun moments.
Made for obviously very cheap, it's something Luc Besson had to get out, I guess, creatively.
