I love Jurassic Park, but that artwork? Really?? Original poster would've been simply fantastic

I've got the 3D version of this - it's a terrific conversion and the 3D effect hides the horrible waxy transfer somewhat (it's a shame the detail is lacking because the new colour timing is quite nice). The movie is crying out for a proper 4K grain-and-all remaster, but I doubt we'll ever get that now. This is a lovely looking steel though and as I recently rediscovered how much I love the movie I'll certainly be buying it!

I'll be buying the zavvi version and then modding it to hold 1 + 2 and the new one coming out later this year.

Is there a thread somewhere detailing how to mod steelbooks? I've got a few single disc holder steelies that I've shoved two blu-rays in but I'd like to properly modify them with the correct number of disc holders - can you buy the disc holder innards somewhere?

No specific threads that I know of. And you can't buy empty cases unfortunately, not in the UK anyway.

What I do is exchange the holders of a 3 disc steelbook that holds for example a Bluray, DVD & Digital Copy. Get rid of the DVD & Digital Copy. And then change it with a single disc case that you want to convert to 3 disc.

Now to change it, it's very easy ONCE you've practice on a few.

You will cringe but the first case I tried it on was my V1 Blufans Iron Man and I messed it up ... I bought a V1 case on ebay for £30 and ruined it. I got a spare V1 and Lenti V2 for myself. But I was modding the V1 I bought off ebay to hold all three Iron Man films and the spine crumpled in several places on me as I didn't take it off in a proper downward angle. The video I came across on youtube made it look easy.

This is the video:

If you're in the UK, this is the cheapest 3 disc steelbook I've seen for you to butcher:

Protip: When you're done, smash the discs up Office Space style.

It would be fantastic if they gave this the treatment it deserves and had the panels on the wooden gate debossed and the logo embossed. Something similar to Jumanji.

Do we know will all 3 go live together or will it be one a week for the next 3 weeks?

I kind of like this and the third one, pretty much the same as the films I find JP2 to be the weaker one. £45 to get all three in preparation for the fourth though? ... I think I'm going to pass. I already have the jumbo steel of the trilogy and I don't feel like these are enough to warrant the outlay to replace that one. If I didn't have it though I'd be all over these. Nice to see Zavvi starting to hone in on stuff like this as well rather than b-movie stuff few care about

But is this embarrassment of buying those films worth it.

If you want to act 'tuff' then the next cheapest is FAST & FURIOUS 5 ... it has a DVD, Bluray & Digital Copy ... and you can put it back up for sale and get most of your money back (as long as you don't do a bodge job).
