Yesterday put my box sets in the new cases from steelbookcentral. Only problem is there is a lot of reflection when you take the photos. So top right for Justice League, then when MOS comes will have to demote Suicide Squad to the lower shelf.
@Mickle_89 have you ordered the cases from SBC? I notice we have one thing in common, why is our boxsets all on top? Stop the children from using it as a football?

Haven't ordered any yet but plan to soon. How is the fit?? And you're damn straight, don't want to go through those emotions again :stop:>EEK!>>:pain:>:grumpy:

Pretty snug fit on the sides, little bit of a gap on top, no biggie, other than that pretty nice fit.

Only downside it doesn’t look as good as displaying them without it. If you have a light exposed all you see is a lot of reflections sometimes. They look better without it if I’m being honest. But then you have to worry about dust and possible marks etc.

If you have sealed copies it’s good to have it to stop the marks and wear on the shrink wrap.
If you opened it and they are on a top shelf to stop the kids ripping them up, lol, I say it’s not that essential.

Looks amazing, but there's no way I have the space (or budget) to do that!

I'm considering getting the MoS steelbook set from Zeta as JL will be my first set.
I have lenti individuals of the other DCs but thinking of sourcing the other sets too...eventually. Are they worth the chase? I'm aware of prices and may take a long time but all the sets together look amazing, plus zeta is to DC what Blufans is to Marvel.

I'm a big DC fan but I have to admit that the Marvel movies have been better overall (with the exception of Wonder Woman). Hopefully that will change in the future now that DC and Zak Snyder have parted ways.

"overall" is the big word, because overall the DC films are not THAT bad. I mean, if we were to judge the MCU at the same state, we would have to only take The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America into account, if we sum it up, only 2 of these movies were actually good.
And we jump to phase 2 (Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2, Guardians of the galaxy, Avengers 2, Ant Man), only 2 are good (maybe 3) while the rest is average (some of them being really bad) and that's the same trend since.

I think the big difference is since Marvel were first and is here for 10 years now, people tend to forget the bad movies more easily, because if you look closely, for 1 good Marvel movie there is always 1 bad or average at best movie to "counter" it.

It’s nice to find another DC fan. When I tell people around here that I like MOS and BVS I get a lot of flack. I thought Justice League was fun too, but it seems like i’m solidly in the minority there.
You are not alone, I'm a DC fan of MOS and BVS (extended cut) too. Just has the vibe of gods & monsters with darker aesthetic I like in movies. Started with seeing Superman (1978) in the theater all them many years ago

Each to their own in tastes and opinions ;)

Man of Steel is my second favorite super hero movie ...Batman (1989) is my favorite and untouchable. I also love BvS, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Justice League.
i really don't understand, why these movies get so much hate

Well since you asked
Apart from Wonder Woman they are pretty mediocre.
I understand you love DC and I even understand you love those movies but the love of a certain movie doesn't mean it's a great movie.
I love lots of movies that aren't that great but I will be the first to admit that they are crap and not be blinded by my love for those movies.

Because of the natural comparison to the MC universe. In their own way they are both taking lead with comic movies but both worlds are compared within cinema and because of how established and polished as a film series the MCU is, the DCEU will always be seen as second best, thus hating upon it in comparison. In their own rights each DC film isn't bad at all, but as we all know these films have to culminate somewhere and lead towards something bigger, it's when they become intertwined where comparisons are drawn to the Marvel's superhero team offering.

Lets make no mistake, the MCU is far more successful at this stage but it too has its flaws. However, it feels more professional and solid overall. You have 10 years of MCU to catch up on so with that level of establishment and now it's run into the finale of Phase 3, it will be drawn upon compared to DC's far fewer offerings and straight into a Justice League movie because, hey, lets bring the team together and draw in some cash.

I think we can all agree that DC are trying to 'keep up' or 'rush' to establish itself in the same merit as MCU. I don't think their films are bad, I just think they've got it wrong in terms of build and establishing what they need to. What is the hurry? Why not make a couple of MoS movies first before meeting The Bat? That in itself was a bit of an anti-climax for me personally. Every body has always wanted to see Supes meet Bats on the big screen and when it finally happened, yes it was good, but not as good as it should have been in my opinion. DC are quickly pushing their movies towards the team collaboration, and only then are they going to produce us with the individual films afterwards rather than before. Do we care that much about seeing Aquaman have a solo movie AFTER Justice League? Some will argue yes as it draws on his backstory, and that's the point I guess, that's only the route DC can go now, but I would have much rather seen each of these individual heroes built up first. That's just my preference and I think it adds more excitement to a team movie.

I don't think people necessarily 'hate' the DCEU, I just think they prefer the MCU more.

Of course, we are born in an era where we are lucky enough to be able enjoy both and that's what I do. I'll always have my preferences but by no means is the DCEU rubbish.

Personally I really enjoyed the DCEU films up till the utter disaster that was Justice League, ironically enough trying to be more like the MCU has been their downfall (to me at least)

As much as I was enjoying the DCEU films before JL though when you look at some of the MCU's best films (Avengers, Winter Solider, GOTG, Civil War, Black Panther, Infinity War) you can say that none of the DC ones have come close to those

Obviously though Nolan's TDK trilogy (well the first two) > everything ;)

Apart from Wonder Woman they are pretty mediocre.
Man of Steel and Batman v Superman were not perfect, but not terrible either.

we could say the same for the MCU, only a small part is good. And when you think about it, only one thing saves the bad MCU movies: the Marvel Studios logo at the start. Just look at Venom, "fans" are already ready to bi.ch about it because it might not be linked to the MCU (meaning if it was in the MCU it would be better, while it does not mean anything about the quality). I bet Spider Man Homecoming would not have the same viewers score if it was Sony making it and not Disney. Or the X-Men, after the Disney/Fox rumors, everyone was already being like "finally good X-Men movies" (even though we already had good X-Men movies), and to be honest, I would rather have a X-Men United, First Class or Logan outside of the MCU than a Thor 2 like X-Men movie. I think Marvel fans tend to forgive the bad movies just because it is linked to the others.

PS: and before anyone say I'm a DC fan and Marvel hater, some of my favorite super heroes are from Marvel :)
