I've heard of some people making strange statements to get attention, but I'm amazed no one has pulled you up on this. Joking, it must be at least 12 - 15th on my list though. That being said, I've never really liked Superman movies, I enjoy the comics, but find they don't translate too well to the big screen. Batman however is my favourite and even if a Superman was technically better, and superior on a story, acting, pacing level, then I'd still prefer the Batman movie
As @BluSteel2012 mentioned, I too think WW is way overrated. MoS and BvS are definitely better IMO. But yeah, The Dark Knight is still the best superhero movie out of all of them, closely followed by Ragnarok
Nobody pulled me up on this, because nobody can :D :p
The Dark Knight is one of the best films made. Sure, it's based on a superhero but i dont think that version/adaptation was meant to be a "superhero" movie. I like my superheroes portrayed as larger than life, not a down to earth character. I already have enough "down to earth" friends in my life

@StifflersDad Haha I'm pretty sure i've heard it all. But if you think you have what it takes, you're more than welcome to try to change my mind. I do keep an open mind. Please do so through PM however. :) We dont wanna derail this thread even further.

[...]The Dark Knight is still the best superhero movie out of all of them[...]
Batman (1989) is the best superhero movie and the best Batman movie at the same time.
btw: the Batman movies by Nolan are totally overrated. they are good, but nothing more, just my opinion.

It's all subjective as to what is 'the best'.
Some of us will agree, some of us won't.

I think Guardians of the Galaxy is the 'best' superhero film ever made. Why? Because it is the one I have enjoyed the most out of any, was excited about most and was loving elements of it the most (i.e. soundtrack, clever humour, gun toting talking raccoon etc) and when it arrived it felt fresh and unfamiliar!
It's a million miles removed from something like the Nolan Trilogy, which I also think is great... but not my personal 'best'.

There's just no accounting for some tastes.

I'm going to call you out on this. You think Batman & Robin is better than ANY Superman movie? :hilarious:

The Dark Knight is one of my favorites. I'm amazed you can put dreck like Ragnarok just below. :wtf: Mostly great action, and Valkyrie is bad ass, but the plot was garbage, IMO.

Hey no film can match Green Lantern, it’s the Godfather of superhero films

With Steel as the Godfather Pt II of superhero films

Over two days ago a whole bunch of members said how they appreciated their DC movies. I re-watched JL last night and I still enjoy it and can't wait for HDZ to ship and show up

I woke up this morning and discovered that the DC dregs got dragged up, if you are going to stoop so low then mention Jonah Hex

I do have a fond spot for Swamp Thing though :emb:

At least it had a plot unlike Suicide Squad and Justice League:vomit:

JL and Ragnarok were both popcorn flicks. :penguin:

Suicide Squad is WAY DOWN on my movies to watch list. We'll see if it makes me :smashed: or I :dead: before I suffer through it. Did anyone like it?

Yep I thought it was decent. Cool soundtrack and some good action scenes. Yes it could have been better but it’s nowhere near as bad as people would have you believe IMO.

All these marvel and Dc movies costing a rediculous average of $200M - $250M to make are all pop corn movie for special effects, entertainment, bit of action and fun. I don't take them seriously, just enjoy them for what it's worth and a 2 hour escape from the pressures of daily life.

But what if watching Suicide Squad is one of the pressures of daily life?;)

So are the 2d/3d steelbooks having JUSTICE LEAGUE 3D on the covers and UHD one not?

I saw these pics and thats why I ask..
