Tricky one . . . mixing two designs on the same 'page' . . . not successfully here I'm afraid . . . would've looked more elegant with just the central art zoomed in and without the floating heads . . . not as if art just in the middle can't work well e.g. "Seven Samurai", the Studio Ghibli U.K. steelies etc.

Problem with "Karate Kid" posters is there's nothing that screams out "Steelbook art" . . . copying "Seven Samurai" steelbook style with this iconic "Karate Kid" image seen on the minimalist poster would've been an idea though . . .

. . . failing that . . . and again not mixing artwork styles . . . another borrow from "Karate Kid II" . . . this time with "real" artwork:-

Of course this new one - in very different style to the fun Gallery 1988 / Project Pop Art first steelbook - has the main characters on the front . . . which is another thing that should please the Illustrated Art haters.

Does it matter? I'm sure the cover art and rear art are the same.

Or do you need it to be glossed and embossed with the perfect interior art for £4.99? :LOL:
