Been trying to cut back on how many steelbooks I've been getting these days, but I've been figuratively kicking myself in the arse for not getting this earlier. Just ordered this from Amazon UK (thanks for the heads up!) and glad I didn't have to pay too hefty of a price. But by the looks of it, this steelbook is going to be worth it. 
It's not a patch on the first movie imo. Still lots of fun though!
Amazon are showing more than 999 units instock again so looks like this one is not as rare as first thought.
It certainly pales in comparison. It lacks the heart and pacing of the first.
It's not quite as good as the first, but then coming back for round 2 was always going to dull some of the first films smarter moments and shock tactics. It was also filmed with much less money and suffers in scope for it in certain scenes.
If you loved the first then basically you will at the very least like this film. It's fun, rude, and violent as hell, just what Miller fans wanted. It also for the majority of the film sticks close to the comic and Hit Girl mini series.
For me personally it's one of my top 3 films of the year, but then I utterly adore the first film and Millers comic books in general.
I've had the odd one like that. My Universal 100th Aniv Kick Ass and Serenity both came in baggy wraps. Might be a Universal thing seeing as both of those were the same company as KA2 with the round tape to hold the J card
Guess I snoozed on this one thinking it wouldn't sell out. Hope it comes back for a decent price!
I haven't seen this in stock in Edinburgh or Glasgow's HMV. Guess there wasn't much stock to go around!
