Zavvi sold out? put on too early and pulled or for real gone?
Sold out for now it went live at aprox 8.15am

As usual might come back available closer to release date or after

Zavvi the amount stock of trade wide releases they order is lot less than it was a few years ago and due to this been limited to 2,000 their allocation would have been a small amount.

Yeh but Atomic Blonde didn't do this. Although i always thought this would be more popular., but even so, it seemed to sell out before the 9 am email so the normal folk don't even get a chance.
Just down to the in the know people here etc..glad i got one just incase from Zavvi...waiting on HMV

Relevant but I think also.. it's King Kong... still the biggest box office hit for a Kong movie. I think a lot of younger people are waking up to it being a far superior movie than any of the recent Kong Godzilla franchise dross they've been spoon fed. Peter Jackson and real storytelling movie-making is King.

I don't think it's younger people eating up all the supply for their collections, more likely they had 5 copies or speculators stepped in.

I think there's a misunderstanding. I didn't say that was the sole or main reason. The biggest box office Kong-movie is the main reason. It was always going to sell out quick. However a younger audience recently relating to the movie is also relevant, even when considering why scalpers would be all over it; as it becomes easier to resell for them.

"Maximum allowed quantity of product 'King Kong Limited Collector's Edition with Steelbook' in one order is 1." on HMV
It was set at 5 before ,they going to do cancellations?

They may cancel other's with 3,4,5 in order,
Got an order in but had to pay with paypal, it won't work with cc on new listings to the website, its so infuriating.
