I am wondering what would happen if someone goes to Rick's Pawn Shop (Pawn Stars) with a Future Shop Iron Man steelbook!

Steelbook expert: 'Hey Rick, what do you have here?'

Rick: 'An Iron Man Future Shop steelbook release.'

Steelbook expert: 'Ok, let's have a look. Ok. This steelbook was released by Future Shop and it is a nice collector's item. The front looks in pretty good shape, but it is, unfortunately, still sealed. This means that we don't know if the Steelbook has any imperfections behind the J-card. There could be major damages.'

Rick: 'So how much do you think it is worth?'

Steelbook expert: 'A true collector would pay between $150 and $200 for it.'

Rick: 'Thank you. So how much would you like to get for it?'

Steelbook owner: 'Well, I'd like to get $150 for it. You heard what the guy said.'

Rick: 'No. I can't do that. The current Steelbook market is down and it will take me months to sell this steelbook. It will also take a lot of storage space. I can give you $40 for it.'

Steelbook owner: 'Can you give me $100 for it?'

Rick: '$60 is the best I can do.'

Steelbook owner: 'That's the best you can do?'

Rick: 'Yes, I would love to give you more than $60.00, but the Steelbook is sealed and there might be imperfections... I am running a business and need to make a living, so that's all I can give you.'

Steelbook owner: 'Well I guess I'll have to take the 60 bucks then.'

Rick: 'Ok, sounds like a deal. Chum go write him up.'

I mean, those 2 steelbooks look like Asian releases. Asian steelbooks are really hard to sell, so I guess around $10 each?

RICK with all the overheads, paying staff to show it to people everytime they want to see it, you know the steelbook market has taken a massive nose dive with the economy the way it is , id offer you $18 for both of them and i shouldn't even be doing that, to tell you the truth it scares the crap out of me even offering you that much, so what do you say, we gotta deal?

Sometimes I just can't believe what I see and hear.

Before they go to the store, to offer their product, they say what they want to get for their product:

Idiot: ''I was told it's worth at least $50,000.00, but the lowest I would go is around $35,000.00.''

Idiot: ''I got $2,50 for it. I expected to get a little bit more, but the expert said something different. Well, it's more than I had before I walked in, so I am happy.''
