I wouldn't discount it completely. If the pre-order gift isn't retailer specific, then Yesasia should get this as well.
YA never mentioned anything about the free notebook with TDKR pre-orders but to my surprised my YA order came with one

TDKR Taiwan on YA? They do have something mentioned about the notebook in the listing. Under 'Product Information' ***This edition includes a notebook (12x17cm)

I don't see anything written in the Taiwanese Life of Pi listing on YA for any free gifts. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

On the JSDVD homepage it says the cloth book is a global exclusive gift, there is also the photo book as an additional gift. So everyone should get the photo book (or at least everyone who orders in the first batch) and only people who order through JSDVD will get the cloth book.

I don't see anything written in the Taiwanese Life of Pi listing on YA for any free gifts. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

With regards to TDKR, the notebook wasn't mentioned at the time of the listing was put up. It wasn't till after the release date did YA update their listing page to include this info.

Like I said, its possible it will be the same with these free gifts to be included with Life of Pi

When it is packaged and ready for shipping, they will send an invoice for shipping charges, 2 methods for you to choose and you can pay then for your preferred method.

I have the same and have emailed them twice without any reply. Just emailed them again so hoping it's 3rd time lucky.
