This is an absolute must with the full lenticular slip. So glad I waited and did not bother with the UK version. :scat:

Taiwan Plus Full Slip is the Bomb. :oohyeah:

I don't understand why everyone thinks the slip looks so good. Its the exact same art as the actual steelbook itself. If it was different that would be one thing.

Gladiator was the only TW Steelbook to feature a full slip. Guys, this is grail material. It's been years since TW released a Steelbook with a full slip. I'd rather buy it now than pay eBay prices.

EDIT: I really hope the cover with the tiger is used, I'm not liking the whale version too much.

You forgetting Avatar Extended?

Just ordered this too, got it for $57 dollars as I had a $5 off coupon. With the free shipping its worked out at roughly £38 so it's not too bad at all :D

That means JSDVD would have to price this very competitively for it to be worth cancelling. Skyfall was about £26 from them plus postage (which is what, about £10?). Life of Pi is 3D meaning it will be a bit more on top of that.

Well, that's assuming the steel is the same as the UK version... The artwork on YesAsia shows Richard Parker so hopefully the steelbook had this with the lenticular slip showing the whale! That would be pretty sweet :oohyeah:

I thought it was an IronPack. I wouldn't know since I don't own any Avatar steels or the movie. I always found it too cliche and boring. One of the few movies I wouldn't want to own even if I was paid. The 3D is breathtaking the film not so much.

Its a steelbook. Asia had a wide release and they were all the same steel. Took 2 full years before it finally sold out at jsdvd. I expect this release to be pretty large print run as well.

I ordered one of these. I'm going to see what the price will be on JSDVD, and then decide to order two of these, or just stick with one and keep my zavvi order.

Given the state and prices of UK steels at the moment, it'll be cheaper to import Asian versions at this rate. :hilarious:

Full slip please Taiwan. :scat:

So as new collector of steels, is it possible to order the Taiwan steelbook from amazons website over there or would I need to find someone doing a group buy. I apologize in advance if this a dumb question, still figuring everything out.

no its not available @amazon...and nobody will do a group buy for taiwan titles;)

you need to create an account on a website that sells taiwan steels and order steelbooks by yourself:thumbs:

Its very easy buddy, just go on jsdvd and click on the British Flag on the top right hand corner of the website and wallah the website will all be in English. Remember this is considered the dark side, because once you order you are going down a road that few can resist. ;) Oh yeah you might want to save a little cash for future therapy.
