Never heard a bad review of this. Some found the last third of film is a bit dragging.

They can't do that mate. UK classification law makes it a legal requirement for the BBFC rating to be displayed on front and back of every blu-ray/DVD.

Beautiful is the only word I can say to describe this movie. It was 2 hours long and it felt like it was only 1 hour long. I didn't want it to end. This movie is inspirational as well as top notch filmmaking at its finest. This movie to me shows off your home theater as good or better than Avatar did.

It's two words for you: Ang Lee. The only one time he did not make up to expectation was Hulk. Plus the guy has proven himself the capable genre hopper.

Everybody hates on Ang Lee's hulk, I thought it was hugely underrated and an awesome, stylish movie.

Fox used to print the rating logos on the case, but now they only put them on the slip

Couldn't agree more. And the artwork for the steel isn't half bad too.

I'm personally in the camp who would've preferred the front with the tiger (probably the scene where he's taking a swipe at Pi from the boat) but the actual artwork is quite stunning too, and just shows off the visceral beauty of the film itself.

It's a shame the steel didn't get a glossy finish though that would have made it a cracker!

I would like to know this too, as the cover for the UK one looks as though it has a square embossed thingy around the whale.

That is correct. Someone confirmed that they had the Italian version in hand and it did not have the lenticular magnet. He also posted pics of it.
