Hi everyone, just a quick question and clarification.

This is likely to be my first Group Buy purchase on the new system.

I already have FAC's 'Don't Breathe' paid for (on the old system) and have held it so that I can combine it with future releases to save on shipping.

I've read the 'NEW GROUP BUY SYSTEM' thread and wanted to clarify that we only pay for the item up front?

I wanted to pay for Logan and keep that held until a further 1 or 2 releases are added to to the same package.

Hi @Graphic_Delusions.

Correct, you only pay for the item upfront. Once the Group Buy goes live there should be a "Shipping Terms" tab on the GB page which will explain the shipping process/prices etc.

As an example, here's the one from FilmArena's recent Bad Boys 2 GB:

I'm interested in E2, but the 3-D slip is concerning me. I don't suppose the 3-D part is removable like Zavvi's "Iron Man" re-releases were, are they?

I was planning on grabbing the box set but may settle on the PET slip and maybe E5. I'll have to do 2 separate transactions (with 2 shipping invoices) if I decide to grab more than one, correct?

No it's a Lenticular Slipcover which isn't removable. Edition 5 has a removable magnet which will be like the Zavvi Lenticular releases.

You should still be able to combine shipping. Shipping is paid for at a later date so you can combine orders.
The Lenticular is E2.

That's a shame. I just don't see what on that cover is gonna POP with the lenticular effect.

I think FA are the best when it comes to slip thickness.

Nova slips are quite flimsy. Example, Incredible Hulk and Start Wars TFA (Falcon) slips looked great but quite flimsy.

I am more interested in just the Steelbook as I sold my entire X-Men premium collection as they picked the wrong Steelbook artwork which I hate.

All my FAC slips are much more flimsy than my nova, kimchi, zeta, blufans etc

The hulk you mentioned and kill bill nova for example are much sturdier than any FAC I own

FAC slips are nice in hand and the finsh is always decent but the flimsy-ness of them all lets them down IMO

Not seen that personally, can you give some FAC examples? BF tend to be pretty weak and the finishbcan be disappointing as well. I can remember The Winter Soldier the gloss on the slip had bubbled by the time it arrived with me.

All the blufans I own are lenti full slips so the lenti makes them possibly more sturdy but it's still part of that slip.

Like I said FAC finishes are always decent and only a few of the blufans I own have decent finshes to the slips like the back of antman for example

But for example even though FAC Birdman lenti slip has a lenti on the front I just sqeezed that in one hand (lightly) and put the blufans age of ultron in the other and did the same, there's a huge difference. Same with all the BF I own. Not just them, same with kimchi etc


My FAC John wick, Birdman, black mass, 10cl, pixels, ted 2, deadpool lenti - all very flimsy

Just compared some of my FACs, NMs, BFs, Kimchis etc and I wouldn't describe any of them as "flimsy" to be honest. You guys should take a look at the recent Zoom exclusive slips from the UK... now those things are flimsy!

Gotcha! They all seem more or the less the same to me anyway... but then I can't say I've ever been tempted to give them a good squeeze to find out which can take the most pressure lol.

I just found his comment interesting because IMO they are the worst at slip thickness. I would actually like them a lot more if they were thicker

Zeta for example are much much much thicker
