Just to confirm, the E4 version is the box set with all editions, correct? I just paid my deposit for the upcoming Star Wars Blufans set so I might end up broke but I'll find a way to pay for this one lol

Yep your right E4 is the Maniacs box set which has E1, E2, E3 & E5.

Not sure if you pay a deposit for the box set, or all up front as I would imagine you would do for E1, E2, E3 & E5.

@Collector03601 do you know if it's all up front or a deposit for the Maniacs Box Set? Thanks in advance buddy.

Film Arena group buys currently require payment in full to reserve your copy, and I got the impression it will stay this way for a while.

There were a lot of problems with non payers for the FAC group buys.

Yeah I saw the recent post from Karel, not good at all.
Might be in the minority but find the new GB system quite easy to use, and hopefully the likes Karel being stuck with copies will be a thing of the past.
Got my money ready for the Maniacs box set, hopefully FA can hold off releasing anything else for a couple of months lol

Count me as one who prefers the new GB system and if it helps our hosts like Karel then even better. I am leaning toward the box set myself because I like that extra layer of collectibility and protection.

what's the new GB system?

The old "reserve a copy now and pay for it later" system is gone. You reserve your copy and pay for it with PayPal (including GB fees) right there and then.

You can read general information about the current GB system here.

Currently active steelbook GB threads are here.

interesting for the Maniacs Box since the last few ones had major delays..good thing I'm only gunning for E1 & E5 although I'm interested on how they will execute the B&W PET slip..

The maniacs box or did you get individuals? I was curious to see how much the box shipping is

I ordered maniacs and loads of other single steels that were in stock but didn't join the GB on. Shipping in bulk is much cheaper. Under 10kg weight it will be 702 czk where as the GB for the standard four steels is 2kg weight at 480 czk. You can see the big benefit there. I understand shipping across the pond is much more expensive. So you only benefit when you combine a massive order. The question will be for big orders is how much custom are you liable for? Our 20% VAT is already paid for where you get the reduction already but high on shipping and possible customs. I join the GB when there are one or two steels that I need holding. But I ordered Passengers, Creed, Maniacs, even had Warcraft that come back in stock as well.

For me VAT is removed and we technically don't have customs. There is a ridiculous high limit like 800 or more before we have to pay anything. So what I save in VAT I lose in shipping from FA usually. I do make bigger orders to distribute the cost but since my number is 19xx I don't ever order anymore

My collectible number is really high as well. But if you order via 'I want to buy' request on multiple pre-orders FA will consolidate them together if you requested around the same time and can combine with In Stock steels if you contact them. Previously if you requested separate pre-orders they invoiced you separately +each shipping which was ridiculous, until I had a moan at them :p and they started combining them together. What I would say is if you buy in bulk direct FA is a better option. If it's just the odd one here and there the GB is a better option until you are ready to be shipped.

Yeah I have used the I want to buy before. I did did it for this box set actually as only hoping to bring cost down lol

Well damn. I'm on a business trip tomorrow. Hopefully I'll manage to grab one, especially since I have all of the x-fac releases :( The random live-time of the GB makes it even harder...I could at least plan to quickly tune in if the cca time/part of day was known.
