I am not a huge fan of Manta slips but that doesn't mean they are a bad retailer as they have dome a decent job with their releases especially their WEA Steels and BvS Full Slip which looks ace.

I can't imagine another retailer raising the price of an edition simply because they're down to a few copies and think they can squeeze a handful of extra bucks out of their customers. Sounds more like the behavior of an eBay seller than a proper business.

For all their harping about loyalty, FA seems to show their average customers very little.

I think it's a sh*tty excuse too but the only other retailer I can think of doing that and trying to get away with it is zavvi. Bumping the prices up to stupid amounts and seeing who will order

And both zavvi and film arena remind me of each other at times.

Zavvi nearly ruined collecting steels and completely over saturated the market at one point. they then calmed down a huge amount just over a year ago now. I can see FAC going the same way and making less sales. Yeah some titles will do better than others but I find them announcing 6 WEA alien films absolutely laughable when they have so many releases of the films anyway and especially with the art for covenant being absolute shite and no different to the older films artworks. but people lap it up.
They have so many on their plate and so many with no movement this will eventually backfire on them. The FAC fanboys will always be touching themselves at night over every announcement and buying every editon but for most it won't fly. A big reason for zavvi's huge price drops and steels falling to £5.99 and not shifting for months was because they announced about 5 steels a week like the path FA are on. To me it's clear FA really don't give a **** what they release and how it looks unless enough people complain (like the Logan maniacs box)
Also the new GB system mixed with FA making 3/4 premiums live at the same time will backfire on them too. I know that's a trial but I don't think that will stick

As for this release, I think the Logan steel is lovely but then I think the slips are compete rubbish. I said all along that lenti slip will look terrible. 0 depth in that video. I've never sold a full on premium steel package before but I'm trying to get rid of the deadpool lenti slip editon because it's so bad!

Filmarena lentis have always been lousy, and I'm afraid they will always be. They'd better remove it and drop the price accordingly.

So it looks like @Mickle_89 was right. FA have been reading this thread and decided to offset the cost of the new stickers by charging 100 czk more on E5. You done it now mickles my boy!
