Sometimes they can do yeah. As someone mentioned earlier in the thread, if bonus features are added at the last minute it can be just bundled inside.
And Ghostbusters 3D (2016) was a Sony release and the bonus disc was just included in a green envelope if I remember correctly so that blows your theory out of the water....
The studio would of decided that. Not Hmv. So it don't blow that theory out the water.
That bonus disc with ghostbusters was from all retailers
Unless that disc is exclusive to that retailer like sainsburys sometimes get and/or HMV on the rare occasion
He was making out that because Spider-Man Homecoming was from Sony that it shouldn't happen.

And yes. That's what I meant, on the rare occasion of retailer exclusive bonus stuff.
In the U.S. sometimes the discs are just shrinkwrapped to the OUTSIDE!!
The fact that we're seeing HMV include more and more discs in the one package, it won't surprise if it gets to be a common practice that the downside to that is that some discs are just included in envelopes.

How does it blow that theory out the water?
We are not the only ones to get Logan noir in a card sleeve.
For example Canadian sucker punch came with the digital copy in a card sleeve and that's Warner bros.
It's not down to HMV. All countries have included Logan noir with their copies
Why we didn't get a second disc holder is beyond me but other places got the card sleeve too
This was also not a last minute desicion lol, we have known about Logan including noir for months now

We weren't just talking about Logan.
Obviously the deal with Logan is that they decided to include the Noir version AFTER the steelbooks were produced though.
I read all that and it don't matter what studio it is. Spidey could have the bonus in a card sleeve because a lot of studios have done that (fox, Sony, WB etc) I doubt spidey will though

I'm correcting you because you got it wrong (ghostbusters wasn't just avalibale from HMV)
And Logan wasn't a last minute extra. It was planned from day one and we have known about that for months. Maybe it was cost cutting for Europe to include it in a card sleeve
Kimchi will also include the card sleeve because they get their WWA from the European shared print run

after opening mine lastnight, this steelbook is fantastic the finish is great all over,
and the inside artwork is a nice touch, was a welcome surprise for the extra black and white disc,
overall this gets 3 out of 3 for me,

The black and white has same audio but extra subtitles. As before and Danish, suomi (Finnish), Norwegian and Swedish.

Wish they included the 4K UHD disc in color instead of the B/W 2D edition. Remember this film was finished in 4K.
bit underwhelmed with the steelbook to be honest so I've ordered Manta's after remembering how bloody great the movie is
