I will also call that this will be bare bones and Fox will release a definitive edition the following year with extra scenes, features etc. Like DOFP and The Martian.
Pre-ordered for now but this new trend makes me skeptical.
I hope it uses the IMAX poster art. I got one free at the cinema and it looks amazing

Saw this yesterday. Spectacular film, very heartfelt and some of the performances are Oscar worthy. A return to form for Marvel. Pre-order secured.
Not only the the last Marvel film, but last superhero genre film I enjoyed this much was The Winter Soldier. Puts all of DC and Marvels recent stuff to shame in my humble opinion of course.

I realise that Disney and Fox are separate entities and that it's not a Marvel Studios film. But my point being that it's under the shared Marvel label and is of the superhero 'comic-book' film genre stands. Fox proved they can make a Marvel film just as well as the studio itself. I don't discriminate, a good film is a good film whoever produced it.
I want art with Professor X and X-23 both included on the cover as well. They helped make the movie too!

What an intense film! At first I wasn't sure what to make of it for the first quarter of the movie, but by the end of it I thought it was genius!
One of those movies that left me thinking about it and the emotions in it even the following day...

I saw this today and it was ok, very dark and gritty. Very Gorey. But i believe the film is only as enjoyable in the cinema depending on your surroundings, and in my town the seats are horrible and uncomfortable and its full of noisey assholes.
Unfortunately no great original poster art for the steelbook front - apart from the big head B&W which would go well with some of the other big head "X-Men" steelbook front artworks - and I wouldn't be surprised if this one below ends up being the cover art (without French text of course) of the International edition . . . and which is at least IMO slightly better than the HMV TBC artwork:-
If this was coming from Arrow or Eureka then I could definitely see the Imax poster as cover artwork in the style of the "Big Trouble in Little China" steelbook.

Watched this yesterday and it blew me away - just superb in pretty much every way. It's probably Jackman's best performance yet, and not just as Wolverine. Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if he gets some awards recognition. The soundtrack is excellent as well. Top marks from me!
