Pre Order is listed and live to pre order on amazon uk

It's possible this might end up a Zavvi exclusive or a trade wide release
I will update the thread if that happens

I know the film hasn't done great but I hope this comes out. Film isn't as good as the first but I enjoyed it plenty and would definitely get it, maybe another HDN art selection jobbie :)

I enjoyed the film. It knew what it was and totally pandered to the audience making a modern 90's action/popcorn flick.

Agreed but I didn't enjoy it as much as the first, usually goes without saying for these types of movie though. It needed a solid bad guy desperately.

I like the artwork and been lionsgate release likely to be a full gloss finish going by previous steelbooks

Wasn't the first one lionsgate and matte? It's at the back of my collection, too many to get out and look

Olympus yes was a matte finish with metallic shine

Most of the recent lionsgate steelbooks have been gloss
The Matte Finish on Olympus was a quality one and looks great IMO

Ok

I'm not a massive fan when matte has that metalic shine. Works on some not so much on others

I'm not sure if I'll buy the movie or not, maybe if it ends up cheap.

I really enjoyed it, don't get me wrong, but it was as stupid as stupid can be. It was over the top in an 80's action movie kind of way with the most one dimensional characters this side of the Twilight franchise. That said, the violence was magnificent and it was nice to see something that hadn't been watered down to a 12A. I even laughed a few times, although I don't think the bits I laughed at were meant to be funny.

I'd recommend it, but it's not high-art that's for sure.

Great artwork! Good to see Lionsgate paying attention to collectors and doing matching steels for their franchises (Hunger Games being one of them). As we all know, it's not something many studios do, especially when each steelbook is released years apart. If anyone remembers, they also let HDN vote for the artwork on their Olympus Has Fallen steelbook back in 2013 (see here). This one will match perfectly! :D
