Just to clarify for members - that's the Lord of the Rings animated movie - not Peter Jackson's LOTR.
So keep that in mind when purchasing.
Thank you for that, I put animation in the title, but I bet some will get confused.
LOL most people weren't around when this came out. I remember being so disappointed they didn't do the second film. (For those that don't know it they covered about 1 1/2 books with this film, if memory serves me right.)
I grew up with this film, and saw it 1st in German.It was the 1st way that I experienced LOTR. Hence I own the German animated BD with German cover, too-I still love it!

The Hobbit is a great animation, lots of singing and music, that's very expensive though. I got my copy from Walmart for under $10.
If I remember correctly, the movie ends with Gandalf's arrival at Helm's Deep. I loved this as a kid and for $10 I may have to pick up the Blu-ray.
