Someone requested this a couple days ago and I think it's a great idea: Stagger opening the GB threads in 15 minute increments. That way you don't have 4 threads being attacked all at the same time by different people. I imagine the chaos involved would be minimal and the servers could hold the load better. Can we try this the next time we have multiple GB threads for the same release being opened?

Anybody else think it would have been even better if they swapped the full slip design for the front of the actual Steelbook? Embossed the way it is and all. :hungry:

The Steelbook cover itself is a bit disappointing to me as it's largely made up of text with that huge title.

Mate, I've been involved in two blood baths recently, this and Sicario FA, with Sicario I lost patience and got frustrated, with Mad Max I chilled out and put up with the process, big difference this time mate, I didn't sit there hitting refresh like a mad man LOL, 2 maybe 3 times and I was in, don't get frustrated and persevere and Star Wars will be yours my friend:thumbs:

Yeah I don't keep hitting refresh, I wait for it to load each time and it's done me well with novas marvel films so far

I use my phone so it's a bit harder sometimes and with nova orders I use my ancient PC that's been around since the dinosaurs but somehow its my trusty friend when it comes to nova, again I don't keep hitting refresh, I wait for the screen to load or fail before refreshing each time otherwise it would explode lol

Almost forgot but yeah it's definitely Lenti time, sounds like I missed out on the down time.

Sometimes collecting these steelbooks is like being the excited dude in the middle, the none collectors just don't understand it.

Came close to putting my foot through my laptop once or twice on other occasion's, this was a big one though bearing in mind it was announced ages ago, and at one point I thought it might never happen when it went silent....

I understand why you are thinking of this, but it only took 5 to 10 minutes to be able to get access. 15 minutes increments at 4 versions is not ideal for people who are working and only can get away from their desk for 5 minutes or people on their way to work or sleeping.... instead of being 5 min to order what you want, you end up to have to stay up 1 hour or any other scenario.

You have to remember that ''Time zone difference'' vary a lot and it affects people's schedules. with people's different schedule would be difficult for a big majority if we would have to be at our computer to order 3 or 4 different editions and stay in front of the PC for like 1hour ?:blackeye:

I'm just trying to put a positive spin on things. Just seeing, and living through, all the frustration and negativity from slowdowns and crashes gets annoying at times :D

Maybe not annoying but you know what I mean. Having a hard time finding the right word...

That is the thing, people who keep hitting refresh it takes longer to get in. like @Flloydo and you said, you hit refresh and wait for page to load, once it has completed the refresh you can do it again. But when you keep hitting refresh over and over it is when you are not able to get in easy.

You would think that the servers HDN use failed them based on some comments. I would rather deal with the little lag than go through Nova's catastrophic failures. I dont see a problem with how the GBs are held. Everyone has and still has a chance with plenty of copies made available.

To be fair I nearly did with my first nova order and then I got the chi out Lol

Wow the thread is nearly a year old! It's only really been in recent weeks I've been interested in this (the steel package I mean - I loved the film the second I see it at the cinema, plus i got the German 3D version but I'll get rid of that once this is in hand :) and I may even swap the discs over to keep the picture discs)

Looks like Lenti A is pretty popular. It's a good thing there's more of those available!
