Agreed. It's like they took the comments about the original's slog of a 2nd act to heart, and applied it the the whole of the sequel. Easily could have done with another half hour, with more carnage backstory, and just more carnage in general.
I like both venom films, quite a lot actually, but if they didn't have Hardy, and venom's hilarious dry wit, they'd fall so flat.
Yes lol it just felt that kind of film to me that you aren't sitting there thinking "wow, this is bad", but it doesn't particularly keep you interested either..... soooo basically it was worse.
I watched a film of hers called the voyeurs the other night. And it wasn’t for the plot. But she did get her plot(s) out so I’ll just leave that with you........ (it’s on amazon prime)Just give me Ms Sweeney hanging upside down. That’s all I ask.
I think Sony missed the mark with this steelbook release. They could have simply put Sydney Sweeney in her Spidey outfit on the cover n nerds would have geeked out buying up every copy available

The problem wasn’t Dakota, it was the bad script, which is all to common with Sony’s marvel flicks (with the exception of those made by Marvel and the Spiderverse movies).
Wow, it looks like a strung up body from Hellraiser, blood and chains everywhere...
I was thinking smh similar. Wasn't sure if i'm really seeing Madame Web steelbook at first >.<
It’s what Dakota Johnson did to her last agent for getting her in to this mess. xD
