The answer would be: because they only paid one time shipping costs.

But to be honest we are talking about only one month delay. I can live with that.
On the other hand, no one knows exactly how long he/she is going to live. I may be dead in a month. If they ship the full slipbox now I can maybe have it just in time to admiringly hold it in my hands before croaking. There is a reason they say, "Don't put off for tomorrow what you can do today.";)
By the way, I ordered the lenti but I'm thinking of those that ordered the full slipbox.:D

A bit dramatic to argue that way don't you think? If you think you could be dead in a month, than maybe you shouldn't pre-order anything ;)

i want my lenticular edition now!
no email with info about the delay...poor service

not even in hand pictures..manta service and info politics + nova servers in Fac Hardboxes would make a great new seller!!!

Did they not email customers who ordered from the website? At least they posted on facebook and here the info. Lucky you are a member here to get the info!

Yea no in hand pictures of the lenticular slip yet althuogh they did post their test lenticular a while back, they then took on feedback to improve the transition of the lenticular and changed it. Manta have taken the feedback about in hand pictures via @Aniv hopefully we will see more from their next releases in the future.

Meh. I think it's perfectly reasonable for people to be concerned.

But what is it that people should be concerned about? If anything,I'd be concerned if we got an announcement that told us they shipped on time, but that the product would not meet our expectations because of a manufacturing glitch. Imagine how you'd feel then?

Maybe concerned is not the most appropriate word. But I think it's perfectly acceptable to be annoyed by the delays even if it is for quality control issues.

Delays have become common practice in the Steelbook game. Blufans, FAC and Kimchi have all seen delays. I'm not worried, Manta wants to start strong with a quality product. I'm in for the 1-click so time is not a huge factor over quality.
