Well it would be as its not a Zavvi exclusive, it's being sold everywhere.

It's nice how some still blame Zavvi for high prices when there is a clear trend towards increasing prices. Stop blaming Zavvi and start blaming greedy studios who realise just how profitable a few Steelbooks can be.

I know what you mean - how can we go form about £2 extra for the steelbook in comparison to the normal release to 40 euro for a steelbook......3D or not it's some price hike......

I guess we collectors will pay - and retailers know that!

I'm not blaming Zavvi for prices increasing, but it if this was an exclusive to Zavvi you can bet your house that it would've been even more expensive again. E.g. Iron Man 3, and all the other Disney steels

People over on other forums are debating about if UK release will have extra bd just for extras like US release which is 4 discs. One dvd one 3d bd one 2d bd and extras bd.

This has no information whether it's 2 disc or 3 disc... When will they announce it?

Iv already preordered from Sainsburys cause they have so many stores so I can probably receive it on a earlier date And I don't see why everyone going with amazon? Sainsburys will match it and make cheaper too.

Because sainsburys have crap packaging literally comes in a cardboard envelop no foam or bubble wrap only ordered 1 thing from sainsburys and it came damaged. Never had a damaged item from amazon

Peace of mind returning it is worth the extra £1.76........................

I would like to get it on release day so add another £1.50 on that

Nice spot, the code wasn't working with this one the other day.

ive pre order this cause i think for man of steel u have to have a steelbook right!!plus i loved the film, but like most on here im not liking the price increases and sudden flooded market for steels and thats why ive started cutting back to absolute must haves instead of everyone that is released. blame studios, retailers etc for noticing the prices that collectors are prepared to pay and trying to cash in, the only way to combat it is to not preorder or buy straight away and that will force retailers to slash and start lowering prices.i know its hard to see those steels sitting there and really wanting to order but its the only way..ive just about started to manage the control !!:D

Have to agree with what members are saying about the price hikes, but I'm afraid this is how most collectible hobbies turn out.things just keep getting more expensive, and unless everyone stops buying them, then there will be no change

So, recently WB Steelbook treatment for titles like The Conjuring and The Goonies have been quoted as, "embossed". But is that treatment based on the fact that The Conjuring and The Goonies are Zavvi Exclusives, and Zavvi had more to do with that, or should we except the Man of Steel and more upcoming WB Steelbooks to get that type of treatment as well?

Is this Man Of Steel identical to the German one so?

Why is there such a price difference between the two? I have both on preorder for now just incase.

If they are the same, obviously this is the better option then?

I hope this one doesn't includes the white 3D name in the front case as the german one does. They can mention the addition of the version in the slip as they usually did in the past. In case that I'm decided to go with the UK version cause of the 3D, Amazon will be my best option. IMO.

I enjoyed the film in the cinema, but not enough to pay over 20 for it. I'll keep my pre-order in hope that Amazon drop the price. I'm done paying £20 + for any Steelbook - don't care if it's 3D gimmick or not.
