Man Of Steel has been announced for the UK. Artwork is as the German Edition.
It will be 2D/3D BD.
Pre order goes live this coming Friday (23rd) and release date is 2nd December.
Looks to be a store wide release.

It's matt with 3D or gloss with 2D!

I don't know about anyone else but since Zavvi didn't actually have the proper artwork on the site it's kind of false advertising in a way. Despite the site saying artwork subject to change they should of made sure to change it before it was sent off

A lot of people bought this expecting it to be different to other versions where the 3D is slapped onto the front.

I know it's such a tiny detail but at the end of the day it's not the point.....I HATE artwork ruined by 3D....there's no need for it. People have spent £24 on this so I don't know about you but I'm complaining. Might see if I can get some money back since it is a fault on their end.

Warners should just distribute a generic "image coming soon" graphic with their new releases, and not even bother with a mock-up. This is like Gatsby all over again.

Exactly we knew it probably would be on but they don't know that we know it was going to be on...if you get what I mean

They just would think of us as an average consumer...not someone on a forum like this which keeps up with every little bit of steelbook info.

Anyway it never hurts to complain....brick wall or not

This is my favourite film of the year so far (I say that because I haven't seen The Hobbit yet!) and I'm happy to have this steelbook on the way. I'm disappointed there's no back art but I love the inside art - it's the best poster artwork in my opinion, just a shame it couldn't have been the front art with glossy finish. I'm not too bothered that it's matte; I quite like that finish and will never object to the S emblem appearing on anything!

Couldnt agree more. I love the film and i think the steelbook looks decent. Too bad its not gloss but owel.

So I got a response off them after complaining and seriously it was in fact a massive brick wall, what a bunch of ignorant people....they basically gave me a copied and pasted automated response about sending my product back. I didn't even mention I wanted to send it back and even though I told them about the mis leading artwork they still havent changed it.

I've just replied and I mentioned the fact that they show white on some artworks and they end up being silver.

You can't really blame zavvi or amazon for the pictures not having 3D on the steelbook they only display the image that they're given by the distributor.

Well another £17.99 3D steelbook from HMV, it may have 3D on the front but at that price for a new release I'm happy.
