I've contacted the Vudu support team asking them about the type of their exclusive pack. for MOS and they answer me that "the Information on the packaging is not available at this time." Also asked again about what happens if I decided to redeem the code an once I've received their combo pack I'm not satisfy and want a full refund they answer me that "VUDU is only responsible for the redemption and placement of this order. Any other issue will have to be taken up with Walmart."

OK I grabbed Oblivion yesterday on one of these pre-orders and it clearly states metal pak on the back. Wal-mart had dozens of different movies like this that you could pre-order and I pulled them all out and none besides the Oblivion stated that they would be anything other than a blu-ray combo. I didn't see any Man of Steels but from the picture it does not seem to state it either.

Some of the other movies also stated with Wal-mart exclusive packaging which could mean anything.

Redeemed mine and for now you can access an "Intro to film" featurette and a Prequel Comic Book. The UV copy will be released earlier than the regular movie release. Also Vudu is responsible to ship the Combo pack to your house.

Me too, but if the Walmart's an SB I'll keep it cause of the wonderful magnetic card and the other has the 3D version so I'm going to get both.

I am so sad.
Yesterday, I made my annual trip to the States (1½ hr drive from my place) to my "local" US Walmart store and it was sold-out...
I was surprised to see many more pre-orders offered (not steels...)

Oh well... I'll get a steel from somewhere else!

If not, and with STEEL already in the title, it would be a epic #FAIL on their part.

If for some reason the SB's art from both places are the same I'll go for the German one. Also, once I received the BD combo from VUDU and I'm not satisfied with my purchase I can ask for a refund with the sealed copy to the store and keep the magnet to myself. Have until Dec. to decide. Excuse my English

Nothing official but Walmart is offering the same type of deal on the Fast & the Furious 6 and that is a steelbook so things are looking up for this one.
