Try to start the movie in french from the BD menu. When the movie started open the menu of the BD player (not the popup menu of the BD) and change to english audio and turn off the subtitles. This should work.

That site has some specs and says that the subs are not forced, but people are having trouble with it so I guess it's wrong. I tried contacting warner (france) couple of days ago and they never got back to me. Has anyone had any luck perhaps trying to contact them and get official word, I'm sort of still hoping there's. chance for something good with this release. It's all been downhill since he announcement. Real shame that they ****ed up so bad.

Yeh, i noticed that i could do that also with some of the TFI releases...

However with this release there is no option to adjust the subtitle to off...
Looks like this one has FULLY LOCKED SUBS...

Yeah It looked good value with the CD soundtrack but with that missing its on the high side.

There is no other French Blu-ray release of Maniac and it's not a limited edition, so my guess is, in 2014 you'll find this steelbook under 15€ .

A bit disappointed by the lack of the (amazing) soundtrack, but if I find it around 12-13€ I'll probably get it.

But when the steelbooks arrived, there was no CD inside

I won't go hammering about this realese so much more and I without a doubt jumped the gun to soon when pre-ordering.
But with no inside art, printed back, forced subs and no cd this is taking the piss.

Ultra fast shipping from amazon.fr though. It arrived in three days.
