Dear Collectors,

We're pleased to announce that our company is now the Home Video Licensee for Paramount Pictures.

This partnership will allow us to develop and distribute quality products.

We appreciate your continued support and look forward to delivering exciting new content in the coming months.

Thank you!
Manta Lab

Everyone hyped af now (except the grinches @Flloydo and @eLviS1987 :naughty:), but watch Manta doing The Last Airbender by Shyamalan first :giggle:
Or maybe the both of us can see sense

Look I’m happy in a way, of course. But their pre order schedule is crazy at the moment and it can potentially only get worse. And then it’s some of the recommendations and wants in here. Some people need to be kicked. f**king Alfred Hitchcock now lol.

If manta went back to one a month then yeah great. All good. It’s gone from every 4+ weeks to 3 weeks to 2 weeks. They can easily change that to 1 a week….. that’s all I’m saying

1 premium per week would be awesome. Lot to CHOOSE from

Rear Window, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Catch a Thief and Vertigo were produced by Paramount. Maybe the publishing rights are on Universal now
Rear window are vertigo are definitely with Universal. I don't really follow his whole catalogue, just the major ones.

Maybe I'm a bit late on some news but didn't Manta Lab create Collectong to continue releasing premiums while they were distributing physical media for the local market? Couldn't this mean they'll release normal blu-rays of Paramount titles for the local market?

If not, do you know how to transfer them my monthly wage directly?

Manta sourced the distribution of their premium editions to Collectong out, to have more time for the creative part.
They still create the premiums themselfs (and yes, normal Blu-rays too).
If Manta has the license, they can (and will) do both now

I am probably alone in my quest but I'd love to see Dungeons & Dragons get some Manta love.

If only for the Chris Pine melty face Lenticular.

No, 1 a month is too little with such a great, new to 'premiums' back catalog - me wants more, and me wants it now!
But I don't think they'll be able to do more than 2 per month, they're already falling behind as is, so unless they double the staff, and increase prices... uh-oh.

I love you Michelle, you can beat me up any day, I'll be your slave... wait a minute...

Wow imagine if they did Scream!
Yes, definitely, all first 4 at least, and with Mattos art:

Other obvious big box office titles for them would be MI and Transformers

But yeah I hope they stay away from stuff like MI and transformers.

UHDClub will be doing all Mission Impossible and Transformers movies in wooden boxes, so I guess Paramount sold the rights to many places, I don't know if it's the new Oracle kid owner, or it's previous agreements, which in turn I hope will be upheld after the company is sold.

Question no one's asked is this manta lab of home video
The ones with warner license (have they burnt deal with warner?)
and reason collectong took over because John could not spend time on it anymore.

Will this in anyway effect what collectong will push out?

Maybe an announcement only reflects manta home video has anyone thought of that???

Until it confirms collectong is improved I'm a doubter for the minute

Those are questions nobody has an answer for basil, and is in part why I titled the thread Manta Lab, rather than Collectong.

Personally, I see no reason why this wouldn't follow through to Collectong. With the exception of Universal (due to approval issues with Oppenheimer and them pulling out of the market shortly after), every other studio Manta have announced a partnership with has resulted in releases via Collectong.

Some high wants. Will probably be Transformers though.

Godfather trilogy
Indiana Jones trilogy
Forrest Gump
Saving Private Ryan
Wolf of Wallstreet
Shutter Island
Truman Show
Collateral
Braveheart

I hope they don't do something too obvious that we've already got recently on steelbook.

Something like Zoolander, Vanilla sky or Payback would tick a lot of boxes for me but they're probably not high profile enough.
